No I think I have everyone beat, if it is NOT SUNNY, LOW WINDS AND AT LEAST 70+ the trike stays in the garage(HEHE). I want to enjoy the ride not freeze and or get blown all over the place. And getting ready for winter, Leaving for Florida right after Thanksgiving to keep the bones nice and warm . Alleyoop I'm with you Alley, If it is not sunny, low winds, and at least 70 I dont ride. kalee

Rode home tonight. The temp is 68. Now, at 65 mph the wind chill brings it down to 49 degrees. Not freezing cold, but for someone who's lived in Hawaii for the last decade, 49 is fricken cold. If it doesn't warm up in the next few days, I'll be breaking out my lined leather jacket with my long arm gloves. BRRrrrrrrr....

Thermometer read 36 when I left the house this morning but there was frost on the ground and on the rooftops so it must have been colder than that. It's supposed to be 68 this afternoon which is typical down here, a thirty degree differential is not unusual. Then I have to stow the mega jacket in the bucket or be too warm wearing it. That's why heated clothing is nice, turn it on when it's cold but leave the power off on the way home and it's just right.

Left my apartment at 0745, temperature 29°F. Rode to Wally-World which is 2.3ml one way. Rode good but I did notice the rear tire slid twice when going around corners. Not sure if I hit black ice or just crappy Chinese tires.

HEY! No swearing! Bl*ck I*e. How rude. Hate that stuff. Darn near went off the side of an overpass in my '80 Sunbird one New Years Eve. Was headed for the guard rail and I looked at my brother and said, "I think we might die right here man. I love you." He swore and said he loved me too. We hit the one spot that was strong enough to hold and bounced back onto the bridge and slid to the bottom. We stopped about a foot away from the cop car that was sitting in the intersection at the bottom. We got out and looked at each other and just started cracking up laughing. This is the wrong color, but same year.

I am so very sorry........that you had to drive a Sunbird. I got you beat though...a Ford Pinto!:
Yes folks the 1972 Ford Pinto combines the speed of a garbage truck with the handling of .....um.....a garbage truck. Get one today and find out why the big three had to be bailed out!
Oddly enough I wrecked the little gem on black ice.

Oddly enough I wrecked the little gem on black ice. Yellow with white wall tires . I had 1980 with a 4 speed and aftermarket ac . The ac was amazing and the engine took its licks all I could dish out . That car was inexpensive to run . Then I moved on to a Mercury Capri another 1980 same engine with automatic , the Pinto would have ran circles around Capri . Bless the ford 2.3L . John

My '74 Pinto wagon had the big engine and heavy duty suspension. With mag wheels, little front-fat rear it had a mean stance. With a little engine work and upgrades to the brakes and sway bars she did real well. The salty streets of Milwaukee got the better of her and the floor pans gave out.
