for winter riding ,i use garbage bag and wear sweater on top of it. very effective and reusable.

Last couple of days have been in the high 20's in the mornings and low 50's in the afternoon.
I starts warming of into the 60's and mid 40's from Monday on. That is good riging weather
but I will be out of town most of the week.

Riding season ending? I don't know what you're talking about... mine is just beginning!

Granted, I froze my @$$ this morning... I think the overnight low was 45 and it was still dark when I left the house. I'm going to need some better gear for those colder mornings, and maybe a windshield and hand guards.

It got near 70 today, around 20 degrees above normal. I took a day of vacation at work so I could get one more day of riding in. Then got it polished up for winter storage. I'm not a fan of riding in the cold so this was most likely the last of riding for me this year.
ccprof, I just love this ms3-250 (same as your xpeed). The engineering on this thing is great. When I had the chinese scooter, I would always wonder when it was going to be leaving me stranded, but this scooter seems so reliable I don't worry about that anymore.

39 yesterday morning. Scooted out of the garage, down the street and had to stop at SS. Almost went down due to wet leaves with frost on them. Un-puckered myself, road home, started the truck to warm up and called in late. Was 30 this morning so knew better, but did go home and scoot back at lunch. As long as streets aren't icey I can ride most of winter as commute is so short.

Hold the phone CC. Not all Yanks have the scoot in the garage just yet. It's been 70 + degrees here in Indiana and I'm ridding my scoot until it sleets. I mean it's been great ridding weather. Tomorrow, I just might take a covered bridge ride and maybe some pics. That would be a nice ride. We haven't had any rain here for a long time and things are really dry. If your walking through the woods, it sounds like your walking on rice crispies. Very loud...

The ride may be cold but, scooters are never out of season. I hunt them down year round
