The drain is below the CVT cover in about 1/3 from the front...you have to get the nut out of the engine or running it like that will tear it apart in 20 miles...if it is floating around somewhere inside
I would try the magnet on a stick routine...
I can't recall but there may be 50cc engines that don't have a drain on that side...

I tried the magnet. i have a long thin strip and i stuck it down the side with the chain all over and nothing came out. Didnt come out w the oil change either. Ya i dont think mine has the drain bolt. The only thing under the cvt cover are the bolts that hold it on and the gear oil drain all the way to the right of it on the bottom. Hell it didnt even have an a/f screw w the carb it came with, well it did but after drilling through a half inch thick cap. LOL. Off to the hardware store to get the correct nut. Sprocket id love to get it out, if i could find a way. Alley said to really get all in there to take it all apart would be pretty hard and I prob dont have the tools for it.

So I have decided that I must have taken a parking spot someone wanted, like the last one or something and they put a curse on my scooter. I went to the hardware store to exchange for the one size too small nuts for the correct size nut to go over the knob / screw thing you turn to adjust the valves ( was smart and brought that this time so I could screw the nut on in the store to test it, I guess just bringing the nut wasnt good enough last time) Well. I found the correct nuts. Brought it home. Got it on the top, then realized it was too tight ( the valve adjustment ) go to undo it and i managed to lock the nut on the nob / screw thing. I cross threaded it and i can't for the life of me get it off. I unscrewed it from the scooter, hold it with plyers and try to undo it with a socket wrench but it just turns in my plyers. So NOW I have to try to find that little knob / screw part online. I hope its a universal size for Chinese scooters. At least I bought 2 nuts even though I needed one because I knew with my luck Id need the extra. Sigh. On this page there ( 3rd row down, center) is one called valve adjustment screw. Im assuming that is it. Its $6 ( geeze) . Im guessing they are a universal size? www.partsprousa.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=valve+adjustment+screw&searchop=orSo does anyone want to give me a trophy for the worst scooter luck. I wonder what that would look like. Maybe shaped like a cartoon scooter with an unhappy face driving over a broken 4 leaf clover? LOL!

Thanks Alley! Good price. It says under description its for 125 - 150cc and under Longbo ( my type) its not the model I have. Do you think it will still fit. I have no idea how universal these things are.

thanks. that one says its for the cam shaft and something about 4.88. Mine is an 8 or 9mm. Im going to call them tomorrow on this one www.partsprousa.com/product_info.php?products_id=19221816 ( next to it, same site) and see whats up with what it fits. Im still worried about the damn nut though. At least my scooter cover came today and my registration is now renewed.

The 4.88 is the width of the STUD the nut takes a 9mm wrench. it is for your motor you do have a 139qmb right? But if you call that is what they will ask so check on the side of your motor where I pointed that another OTHER OIL DRAIN PLUG might be. Alleyoop

$3 valve adjustment screw and $5 for shipping! Crazy idea / question.... Can a person use a regular screw that fits? I mean either way the end of a screw is going to touch the valve and I may be able to find a screw w a flat bottom. It seems a regular screw w a head on the end would help hold it in place while turning the nut too. If that would work its just a matter of can i find a screw threaded exactly the same at the hardware store.

I would not use a regular screw. The screws they use are hardened. They take a pretty good pounding and a regular screw will mushroom out where it hits the valve stem. And will constantly need adjusting. Plus little metal chips will come off and get into the engine. They could be used in an emergency, but would not recommend it at all.

I got my nut off! ;D Woah! Let me rephrase! I was able to remove the nut from the valve adjustment screw! I was looking at pics of valve adjustments and realized people were using this kind of wrench to hold the nut ....with an adjustable wrench to turn the adjustment screw. I was using an adjustable wrench to hold and tighten the nut and plyers to hold the fuel adjustment screw. Makes more sense how it was done in the pics because it was a bitch the way I was doing it. ( hard to hold that tiny screw w my big plyers and work the adjustable wrench) I thought if there is a better way to get this done, there has to be a better way to remove the nut from the screw ( i have both off the scooter now) So instead of plyers to grip and a socket wrench to try to remove it ( wasnt working the screw just kept turning my my plyers) I used the adjustable wrench to hold the square end of the screw and a socket wrench and kept turning it until the nut was off and it worked. I couldnt unscrew it by hand at all, had to wrench it all the way off. Once I got it off I put it back on and tried to turn it and it wouldnt go on. I tried another nut ( extra I bought ) and it went on and off just fine. So maybe I messed up something with the nut itself. I feel like an idiot but glad I got it off since trying to find that exact part and proof it would fit my scooter was a pain. Maybe I need to buy one of the wrenches I pictured above

Really stupid question, but Im assuming you describe right and left as if you were riding the scooter, not facing it? LOL. I know where the plug is that has the spring and oil filter in because thats where I drain my oil when I do oil changes, but I have not located the other. Someone said my scooter may not have one. I was looking around where they pointed out it should be but didn't see it. Sure if u have a photo of the one that is on the left side of the motor that would be cool. Thanks. I saw a pic before but didnt see it on my scoooter.
