Good, that at least it is running HALF WAY DESCENT(HAHA).
Q1. when riding around and giving it throttle speeding up and just riding it ANY PROBLEMS any farts or popping or backfiring or bogging when riding?
Q2. At what RPMS does the SCOOT IDLE at when NICE and HOT?
Q3. Does it hold the IDLE when coming to a stop or does it bounce up and down?

Do you have a ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP or a VACUUM operated Fuel Pump(Tank is in front and lower than the CARB) or PetCock(Tank is above the Carb under the seat or back of the seat)?

i bought this 3mo ago and have only ridding it 14 mi. other than moving it from barn to grage 3 times just wont to git it the way it should be it has 1700 mi. on it.i can live with it the way it but would like for it to be right bo

Ok sounds like everything is working good.
You can check your compression

Do you have a Compression gauge? If so screw that in or if you have one with a rubber tip on it hold it in nice and tight then Hold the Throttle Wide Open and crank it you will see the needle move up until it stops moving. A motor with good compression around 150 above 150 is damn good.

You should at least be able to get to the plug without taking stuff off. WHICH LINAHI scoot do you have and what year.

alleyoop i went back through it .ck vaules--ck spark plug--started
it up let it get hot noticed the tack was jumpiing up and down 100
below 100 above 2000 so i look for a vacumn leak couldnt find one so i took the manifold off put hi-temp gook on it.that help but it dont make no differance if run air mix screw all the way in or very little cant tell by my tack i think it mess up on fine tuning.i can rib the motor up to 7000 rpm let go and it come back to 2000 and idel perfect bo

forgot it has 150 lb of compression

150 Compression is very good, also idle going up and down 100 is normal for a 1 cylinder motor. Now if the idle bounces a lot which is very noticeable like 500 or 1000 up and down then it is running very LEAN.

ok went back to garage started up ran 300 rpm fast idle wouldnt
kick off so i gas up to 7000 rpm something hit the celin look and value stem come out of rim sometime it is best to stay in bed.now
you going to tell me i got to pull the clutch- variator andall that stuff on left side to git wheel off. will reg value stem fit or do i got to git one that fit a scooter rim bo

Q1. You started it and it IDLED at 3000 rpms?
A. How long did it run at 3000 rpms after you started BEFORE you revved it up to 7000?

About the Valve stem you should not have to take the wheel off to put in a new valve stem. Just get the wheel where you can clamp the tire in enough to slip in a new valve stem.

About the Valve stem type I do not know the hole in the rim may be just like one in a car. Maybe Rich knows or someone else may chime.

But Please let me know about the question I asked So I can then possibly point you to what is wrong or what to do.

No need to take the wheels off to work on the stems. I used two C clamps, I think at least 6" clamp size, or maybe a 7" clamp size. Set them each about 6" away on each side of the stem. Let the air out of the tire if not already gone, start tuning them tighter and force the tire off the rim in that area. Then you can reach in and remove the stem or to replace the stem. I used the metal stems that can be ordered from the web. I don't remember the vender but maybe some one on here remembers who to buy from. They do bolt on so should not fly off. Once you have them installed and tested for tightness, not too tight or you damage the rubber gasket part and not so loose that they will rotate freely. Too me it becomes a judgement call.

Then you can start to remove the clamps and have a heavy mall handy, as you may need to pound the tire a bit to force it to expand over the rim edge. Once the tire seems set enough to hold air then start to fill the tire and actually run the pressure above the required pressure to force the tire to seat agains the rim and edges. Once sure the tire is properly seated then release the air pressure back down to what you want it to be.

This works on both the rear and front tires. You will be working in what ever space is free of the fender or frame. Not the most comfortable position to be in.

EDIT TO ADD: I put the clamps on the side of the tire on one side of the wheel, on the other side I put the clamp on the rim. That way I only pulled the tire from one side and had a bit more room for my hand to get in to tighten the nuts. To protect the rim you may need a couple of pieces of wood to clamp too.
