Morons like this buying them, blowing them up and then calling them junk.

I don't understand what you're doing anymore. First you dropped scooters in favor of motorcycles. Now you drop the 650TR Sport Tourer. I might have considered buying an NK650 at some point. Its being called a "Great Bike at an even Greater Price." but not now. When the axe falls on that I might be stuck with an orphan bike and difficult to find parts.
If you're going to go all-ATV in the future, say so. No news and little support for two wheeled vehicles doesn't inspire confidence.
I'm tired of reading the Australian site and seeing all the good things we'll never get. It's a slap in the face to all your loyal owners here and reinforces the belief that the Chinese can't be trusted to maintain a presence.

It's the Mystique over Fact drama again. If I have to explain it to you then you just don't understand.

www.pitmotorsltd.com/dealers/With over 80MPG and 70MPH+ cruising, priced under $3300 (in the USA) and a beautiful classic look. The Ace is sure to make you feel like one.
The Standard goes for like $3295 and the Deluxe is a few hundred more. The Hooligun hasn't got a price yet and isn't for sale yet as far as I know.

Most of the pedestrian two strokes of the seventies ran pretty low compression and had lower combustion temperatures than a typical four stroke. I'm betting that cheap repair would have lasted a while, especially when the carbon built up to iron thick on the piston head. That's a pretty ingenious repair but you have to wonder how he holed the piston originally? Probably using an over hot plug he scrounged from somewhere instead of paying for it.

I gotta think that Scott Collisimo's Cleveland Cycle Werks bikes started this interest in China bikes. His are built for him by the Taiwan company CPI and have garnered good reviews on Youtube and Cycle World magazine, among others. It will be pretty hard for the rest of the Chinese industry to ignore what America really wants after this. Did you see this Pete? www.clevelandcyclewerks.com/hooligun-details/

I've noticed over the years that complaints about current Chinese scooters are dwindling. If you note, most of the problems people come here to ask about are circa 2008 scooters bought when the Chinese shifted into overdrive to meet demand caused by rising gas prices. This China/Volvo connection is just the next step in more Chinese products hitting the roads. From what I've seen they're getting the hint that Americans demand trouble free over cheap.

I sat quietly and observed at Modern Vespa and I just don't get it. Here's a good example. scooterinthesticks.com/2015/01/vespa-gts-250-fuel-pump/This guy, Steve Williams, is a Vespa fanatic. Yet for all his trumpeting he's had his share of issues. He concludes "With the fuel pump replaced I’m good for another 25,000 miles or so…"
So sorry, not worth the price of admission.
