What is a cut valve? I know silly question.
I just ordered a new 3 way fuel valve. I have a feeling the diaphragm is leaking fuel into the carb. So I wanted to install a new 3 way just to be sure.
My stock airbox does have a crack in it where the square part connects to the round tube part. Could this be messing something up?
At 13K miles Im sure all kinda of things start to wear out.

Ok, next issue.... It starts, it runs, but if im at WOT and then back off and cruise it will sometimes pop.
What can be causing this?
Is it time for a new top end?
13K original miles on 50cc's seems like a lot.

Thanks guys. I think the battery is dead. It will start with a kick starter, it will charge a little bit after a jump or riding, but it wont hold the charge.
After 13K miles I think it's time for a new one.

In my 50cc scooter it has a ES9BS Everstart (walmart) battery
I found 4AH and 5AH at the local store, will they work? Or does it require a 7AH?

Engine oil is fresh. 725ML
Could it possibly be the bendix?
Also what is the stock weight of variator weights?

OK so far so good. I have finally been able to kick start the scooter. I just had to get used to doing it, and find a way that it works best.
My next question.. With the button start, when it's cold..some times it does not want to engage the starter. It has battery, and if i try to kick start it, then go back to the push button start it turns over fine.
Is the starter going bad?

I kicked that thing 50 times...it just doesn't want to start with the kick start. Tried brake, no brake..tried talking nice to it, and then threatening it with a 400+lb woman with bad hygiene....still nothing.
It's a shame I can't bump start it.
I guess i'll just keep the battery charged and AAA paid up.

Check to make sure the connections on the starter solenoid terminal are tight.

ok scooter has around 6000 miles it is only 49cc and i know that i am getting gas to the carb just not through the carb i took off the carb and cleaned it there is a electronic neadle that mounts to the top back on the left of the carb i think it may be a fuel shut off but not shure i cant get it to move the neadle when cycleing the scoot to on or off or even while turning it over any ideas please i can use all the help i can get It sounds like you are talking about the electric choke/auto enricher. It will move very slowly, and once the scoot is fully warmed up it was shut off. Have you cleaned the carb jets with guitar string wire? Its a VERY thin wire you will need. They get clogged up. Welcome to the Forum, I am new myself, but I'll try and help if I can. Lots fo great advice and members here, they will chime in i'm sure.

Almost excellent advice Yoop!
I too am going to adjust my idle just a bit. I finally got my scooter running! Now I'm addicted and can't wait to buy/build another scooter.

I would never drive that thing in Florida with all the old people.
Cool scooter, but not very safe.

I've never actually tried to kick start the scooter.
But i was wondering since i don't have a manual or much experience without he Chinese scooters..
How do i kick start the 50cc scooter?
I know with the push button you need the safety lock out of the brake
Any help?
