And Chevy just Won the War. or more Accurately Penske. The "Captain" A Indy winner who did not win the Championship was asked if he would trade his Indy 500 win for a Championship, "Hell No" was the answer.

Can we please use the Correct Terminology and Verbiage? The Front end has Forks for Suspension. The Rear End is Fitted With Shock's or Shock absorbers or Shocks With a Coilover Spring. Rear Springs is driving me crazy.. Ok I'm over it

A Sticky Float Needle. That can be easily cleaned. sure fix the problem. For her sitting for some extended periods you may want to install a inline Fuel Petcock to Shut the system off when not in use. Good Luck

When ever we use the choke to keep her running your just Bypassing a clogged Carb Circuit. How long did it ever set with the New Carb? Remamber Alchohol/ Ethanol is Corrosive to Aluminium, The Smaller the Carb, the longer she sits the Bigger the Problem. The Power Equipment Industry(Saws,Blowers, Mowers etc) are selling tons of new carbs as the small Walbro etc carbs once Corroded Internally are Finished, you never get a hot tank or tother to get it out.

And again My Hunter style Scoot came brand new with the Drum out of round so bad that I had to back off the adjustment so far so it wouldn't rub the brake became next to useless. I put up with it then ordered a set of OE style color matched wheels and the Rear Drum is only Slightly Better. Seems to be Typical of the Quality of product in that we Purchased. I use the front brake almost exclusively, I upgrade my Front brake line to Stainless Braided Line and you can tell the difference, my Front brake is one or two finger.

I can't see the crack since you took a picture on the Pin Sides of the Piston, or is that the crack from the bottom ring to the top of the Pin Bore? I wish I had that in my hands to measure and lok at Ya when Clapped out they will rattle (slap) till they crack then bust the Skirt right off the Piston, Piston to Cylinder Clearance is Excessive when they rattle(slap) and way out of spec by the time they Crack a Skirt.

Bro I have been folowing along your saga I rally think either something else is wrong or ya got the carb all jacked up. Ive done quite a bit of jetting on both my 24mm and 26mm CVK carbs. I've made some drastic changes and the scoot still went down the road. Making One Main Jet size change you should Not have to make such a drastic change with your Needle Jet clip position. you Most likely shouldn't have to change it at all. your going from one extreme clip position to the other. The Needle only effects just above 1/4 throttle to just over 3/4ths throttle, at WOT your on the Main jet. See Graph below. Hope this helps, good luck

This is Bullhonkey misinformation, The Engine with Major Excessive Valve Lash will simply not run long before the Valves Don't Open at all. At that Point the Starter Does Not have Enough Snots to Turn the engine over. There is just under .300" of Valve Lift with .250=1/4" so imaging that the ValveLash being .250" or more it would not run at that point. you will never be able to break those parts mentioned. There are no seals up there and the Valve would be closed so It can't bend. just aint gunna happen. Ok, thanks for explanation. To make things simple, bike has mot due in August, in your opinion will it be ok to drive it as it is, or will it cause some problems and should that valves be sorted straight away? Thanks There are allot of tutorial videos on Valve Lash checking and adjustment. Go Slow and Quadruple check your work especially that you are on the COMPRESSION Stroke when doing this. (didn't mean to yell) again go slow an check your work and you will be fine.
