No fuel pump, gravity with vacuum valve.
Haven't gotten to valves yet.

Personally,I would not expect an engine issue.
I would be looking at the CVT.
Belt first, then rollers, pulleys

2008 jonway 150cc.
Issue, stalls(shuts off) under load(driving).
Question, If the valves are to tight would the vacuum be low, causing the vacuum operated fuel valve to not stay open.
Observation, pulsing in the fuel line and filter. After stall, little to no fuel out of drain.
Thoughts?

If the sound wasn't there before you adjusted the valves, it's not likely a bearing.

Those are toooooo loose!!
You should have had a slight drag or a snug fit with the feeler gauge.
Personally, I would redo them, but that's just me.

Do you have a meter that reads volts digitally?
If so, what is the reading when the motor is running. It should be at least 14 volts.
Let us know the results.

I'm not sure if this will work on a horizontal engine.
We would put a couple of spoonfulls of oil in the cylinder and recheck compression. The oil helps make a temporary seal if there is excess clearance or worn rings.
Again, just my experience, others may chime in..

greginisn, an excellent suggestion. I actually got this product and applied the mix to the areas as well as hooking up a vacuum cleaner to pull the mix into the cracks!
I haven't had a chance to fill it and check it out yet. But I will post the result.

Oops , My apology. I didn't see your follow up post.
Black smoke is a rich or to much gas issue.
Have you checked the air filter.
