OK, Lots of help here. Just need a little more specific information.
You know like;
Make. Model. Engine size. The Problem your having. Anything else that you have tried.
We can go from there!

Personally I think you need a different mechanic.

In my opinion the valves are clattering and need to be adjusted.I say they are loose and not opening fully. But get more opinions before jumping the gun.

Do you want a pic of the tank or the scooter?
I will have to pull the tank if that's what is needed.

price is not my problem.
sources are pretty scarce, checked with Jim @ rapid repair he can't id the brand or style for interchange.
plate says;
2008 jonway 150 cc
vin# L8YTCKPB88Y0700L8YTCKPB88Y0700
motor#YY150T--2A
I'm open to suggestions for sources.
thank you Barry

my scoot has a plastic tank that attaches by 2 bolts, one on each side. the plastic has begun leaking around the inbedded nuts. anyone had any similar issues and how was it fixed?
I was thinking about Kreem on both sides from the inside, just don't know if it holds to plastic.
any suggestions or experiences?

Should the center stand raise the rear wheel off the ground or just stabilize the scooter?

Harbor freight also has 2 frame lifts on sale right now.
One 5.5" to 17" lift for $90.
One 4.5" to 19" lift for $160.
Again these are frame lifts not sure how that works under scooters.
Maybe a small piece of plywood to spread out the weight would work.

I would be looking at the diaphram on top of the carb. Look for cracks in the rubber.
Check that it is seated properly when reassembling it.
If that checks out most likely a plugged main jet.

I picked up this 2008 Jonway the other day.
After exterminating the mice and repairing the wiring, cleaning carb, replacing gas lines, and just having a good time with it.
I have never seen such an anchor as this exhaust system. Is it a California type air purifying particulate captor? Are there more normal mufflers available?
