glass fuse changed to a spade type automotive fuse and holder. No help at all for charging.
Have any of you guys done airhole with wing at the bottom of scooter? Just right in front of radiator. That might cool engine better and fan is not used so much. Maybe?

I have switch for turning headlights on or off. And I don't have four way flasher feature at all.
I bought today spade type automotive fuse and holder. Just didn't have time to install it. Hopefully tomorrow I have time for that.
It really makes sense to use enricher with AC load if it is possible.

Why enricher is given high voltage from stator? It should work 12v.
And where is my diode? I can't change diode to relay and therefore get that 0.7v more charge

Just played with volt meter and scooter battery. I started engine and took some numbers. Fan on and all lights off = 14,44 v Fan on and just driving lights and gauge lights on = 14,36 v Fan on and both HID on and of course all the lights on = 12,28 v Then I started to think about that diode -> relay change. That would raise that 12.28v -> 13v and if I change all my gauge lights to leds then it might be something between 13-13,3v I remember not to see any diode in my scooter when it was naked. I didn't start to undress all the plastics off, because I don't have those led bulbs yet or that 3 amp fan. But instead I started to look pictures of my naked scooter. I took pictures when I did some sort of PDI. I could not find diode even in those pictures I could not believe that and went back to my scooter and tried to look everywhere where I could see. And I just did not found it. Is it possible that there is a cfmoto scooter model which does not have this diode at all? Basically is it even needed at all? I believe mine is without diode and I believe there is a model without diode. Mine does not have that exhaust gas circulation system which you can also see here in Damin69 picture right under regulator. And in my scooter I can turn on HID xenon lights when key is turned to ignition on position and without engine running. Damin69's Jonway YY250T's diode has red-black wires. (or red and yellow) Here is couple of bad photos of my Jonway Steelbird And what is this one shared yellow wire for? Shouldn't there go same 30-60 volt what goes from stator to regulator via those yellow 3 wire.

That sounds good, but the HID set of mine is the one which should be connected to car. There is only one relay and one H4 connector for original headlight connector. Therefore it is connected to only another original headlight connector and I can't do switch. There is 23 000 volt current in HID system so I don't start cutting HID system wires for switch It would be easier if you have two separate HID + relay systems. I wish I would have been ordered one like that. But now I'm waiting for mail man to bring me: - more led lights for dashboard - 7" 3amp fan And I just bought new better fusebox to replace that original glass fuse. Then I hope I'm fine Maybe I get enough charge to drive with navigator connected and can install remote alarm

I ordered that 7" fan from siliconeIntakes.com. Hopefully that and dashboard led mod would be enough. Here have been really hot last days. 85'F which is not normal in Finland in june. Best you can do is ride with scooter to cool yourself. And drink a LOT of water.

Please explain me how this relay is better than diode? Does it improve charge current? What does diode do and do this relay do the same? Is that relay hard to install? And what kind of relay? I am not sure what modifications I should do to my cf-moto fan system to have it linhai fan system like. But if it makes that big difference I might give it a try. If I find time and you explain it to me with wiring diagram and with photos. Damin maybe let you borrow his photos so you can mark with arrows and tell where to connect fan powercord? And how it have to be connected with thermometer? Damin69 great picture gallery

Nice fan! Thanks! The conversion of Watts to Amps is governed by the equation Amps = Watts/Volts For example 12 watts/12 volts = 1 amp So if I need 12 more watts to save (last post calculation) I need to save 1-2 more amps. That cooling fan could do it. Stock cooling fan is very noisy. Propably really cheap construction and bad design. Maybe also huge amp user. Hmm... have any of you guys tried that fan Cruiser linked? Is fan easy to change? Do I need to remove how much plastic because it is big? Is it installed from bottom? And does it mount good?

They all use the normal 194's, except the turn signal/bright indicator lights. Those use smaller ones; can't remember (edit - they are 74's). The dash itself (for the gauges) uses 3 LED's (left, center and right); just buy 3 194's that have a flat surface, like the ones with 4 SMT LED's on the face. Thanks yoster! I ordered a bunch of those leds (25) ;D Default stock lights(headlights 2*25W) + (registry plate light 5W) + (front running lights 2x3W) + (gauge lights 3x3W) + (gauge smaller indicator lights 3x1,4W) = 74,2WI didn't know how much smd-led element takes power consumption. I googled around and finally found this www.ledsmaster.com/0-5watt-3528-SMD-LED-140.html1 smd led = 0.5W. So I use this in my calculation depending how many smd-element is in which bulb. With leds and hids(headlights HID 2*35W) + (registry plate light 4,5W) + (front running lights 2x2W) + (gauge lights 3x2W) + (gauge smaller indicator lights 3x0,5W) = 86,4WOnly led light modification with HIDs doesn't do enough. I hope smd leds use less than 0.5W per element. And other smd-elements are smaller. I calculated all of them with same 0.5W. I need to save about 10 more watt.

At first two weeks I had no problem. I ride couple 60-160 mile trip with no problem.
Then I replaced 25W + 25W bulb headlights to 35W + 35W HID. (+20W) And replaced front runninglights 2*3W and registry plate light 5W to leds. (about -10W) Also replaced break lights to leds (-10 to 20W)
So I guess My current draw should be near what it was at the beginning. But no. I checked cool battery and it said 12.8V. Then took a ride 15 miles with xenon lights on. Stopped scooter and let it cool for ten minutes. Then checked the battery again. It was 12.6V. Not good.
I think I need to change all the Dashboard lights to leds. But how many and what kind of bulbs are they?

cool....thanks...getting ready to go to work on the scoot....will see if I can find these tools....thanks again.....enjoy the ride.... I bought this kind of set which included that kind of tool also It did the trick. Slim enought to fit under the hood with just trying with your fingers. Put the lights on and aim them to wall or something. Then with another hand hold it in the screw and with another hand turn it while you look the bright point at the wall. You have to do easily to 20-50 turns per screw. Because of you can't turn it much at the time. It takes time, but then it will be good I did it from the bottom side. You can put both of your hands in.

...not much of a way to align the bulbs....you will have to remove the nose piece and trial and error...good luck....mine are so much better than stock...I can live with the alignment prob....enjoy the ride.. I did the alignment with this kind of tool (don't know what it is in English) The small one (3"-4" length) and screwdriver head-piece in that hole. Then you can use it with your hands without removing any plastic.

I also installed Bi-xenons to my scooter yesterday. They are great! I need to align them a little bit because they are showing a little too much left. Not center. And a little too low.
I also hope that aligning can be done without removing any plastic. It might bee hard to align them if you have to remove plastic. Then try. Then remove and again try etc...

not nice to be a winner for this but glad you found the reason easily. Was it brand new diaphragm? You should contact to seller and ask new one.
