CDI which is dying can start problems when getting hot. Just like Brndnpnt said. But normal working cdi does not have problems when getting hot.

Yes I know. But that will be the final and ultimate solution if all the other things won't help. I want both HIDs

Another day for invetigating ;D This week postman bring me that another regulator rectifier and silicone intake systems 3Amp fan. Today I decided to strip my scooter. Try that new R/R and check the wirings and stuff. Here are the results. FanStock radiator fan took 3.71 amp. Silicone itake systems fan took 2.33 amp. That is 1.38 amp less (-37%) using new fan. I didn't yet change it so the old fan still stays in scooter. StatorI used multimeter and tested all three yellow wires and when idle all of them show about 36 volts. And when I rev even a little all of them show easily 60-70 volts. So I guess stator is ok. Regulator rectifierI put hid light on and measured volts from battery. Stock R/R 14.10 volts when idling and 14.13 volts when 4000rpm. New R/R 14.52 volts when idling and 14.30 volts when 4000rpm. I let that new one stay on scooter. And checked then what red wire from R/R show. 14.72 volts when idling and 14.59 volts when 4000rpm. So I let that old charging wire stay and put another good wire also from R/R to battery. Good soldered connection and 10 amp blade fuse also. Improvement so far: When idle 14.10v -> 14.72v. When 4000rpm 14.13v -> 14.59v. But still it wasn't enough to charge when lights on and fan on.With old R/R and fan and hid on 12.28v. With new R/R extra wire) and fan and hid on 12.46v. What do you guys think. If I install that new fan which use -37% less current. Could that be enough to charge Battery when both my hid lights are on and fan is on?

I had 23g rollers and my top speed was 68mph. I changed rollers to same size 23g sliders and top speed is the same 68mph. Nothing changed on top speed but it accelerites much smoother.
Maybe 23g is so heavy already that it won't give you more top speed anymore?

It was the bulb. It was somehow a little stuck. I jiggled it back and forward couple of times an it started to work. Maybe some debris or something inside it.

Thats exactly what I taught. So I need to switch the wiring from bulb to another and check if that "broken" bulb is moving to hi beam position. Then if that works the problem is in the control box.
But somehow I don't think there is two different electronic things inside control box to handle those individual bulbs. I believe it is handled with same electronic because in china they are saving every dollar they can in the factories.
So I believe it is the bulb. But have to check that.

Does anybody know about HID wiring? Less than a month ago I installed HID kit to my scooter. Everything worked fine. Since today I accidentally noticed that another bulb is not moving to HI light position. Is ballast anything to do with the high/low position or does it only create that charge for light?Or is it just some wireconnector or bulb which might be broken? Im trying to figure out which part is broken. Is it ballast, bulb or controlbox? Yes I can cross switch bulbs to each others ballast and test and cross swich all wires, but I would not want to tear all plastic again!

How many miles do usually clutch pads last? And do they start slipping more when they are worn much?

I did exactly what speedracer told. Scratched the inside of the bell and used sandpaper (100) for the clutch pads. It helped for the moment. I believe my clutchpads are a little bit too worn?

Is that the main fuse near electric swich assembly? If it is then that charging wire which goes via starting relay could be easily changed. Hmm... I don't have that diode so my wiring harness must be different. Or... if my R/R is ok and gives good voltages, maybe I can put one extra wire from R/R to battery with a simple relay connection instead of diode Then I don't need to unwrap all the wires. What do you guys think?

Thank you damin69 for your understanding. I've been reading a lot of your writings. I believe I need to read them again and write down every tip and try them step by step. But I think it's better to start by reading the volts from regulator. And hope that it gives good volts. Then start to check wires. This is hard to me because I live in Finland which is in another side of the planet. And in here there is not so many of these chinese scooters. Here is about 5 million people and maybe under 100 china maxiscooter. People here buy more those good brand scooters. Every part I need to order from ebay. Parts come from USA or China/Hong Kong. And it ALWAYS takes 2-4 week before postman brings me that part. Frustrating Thats why I ordered a lot of stuff just in case. Even led lights. Yes I can buy them here in Finland. But 2 led lights here without shipping costs, cost the same than 20 led lights from ebay including shipping. 1 variator belt here costs more than 2 belts from USA including shipping This is pretty expensive country. Now you can laugh New Jonway cfmoto 244cc scooter costs near 5000 US Dollar. Try to imagine how much honda, yamaha, kymco or suzuki scooters cost. 1 us gallon gasoline costs here 8,5 US Dollar. (how much it might cost in USA?) Thats enough offtopic. Back to bisness. Now I'm going to take a drink or two (maybe three) and go to sauna. Then someday when I get more time and maybe that another good/bad regulator I start stripping that scooter.

DAMN! Back to start. Everything I did (including coolant change with waterwetter) wasn't not enough. I taught it was enough, but I just took a ride and nooooooo.... Not enough charging when HID + fan on together. That Gammatronix led is really handy while driving. Ofcourse digital volt meter would be better, but it's hard to find weather proof one.
I checked also that fan is going to right direction. And added one extra ground wire from battery to frame.
Maybe I need to start measuring what my R/R gives out. I'm just not sure which wires to check. Was it so that the yellow wires in that R/R connector was from stator to R/R? And some other wire is giving charging volts? But what wire?
And is that wire going straight from R/R to battery? So I't would be easy to change?
