Update: Scooterbelts.com sent me another new belt. They could not figure out why was this one belt 15mm too long. But now I'm happy since I got new belt But I think I leave this as a spare belt and try to find out where to get 918 gates powerlink. Any help would be great.

It's ok and thank to you for your help I'm just pissed of the way how they in scooterbelt.com communicate with me. No the belts were not gates. They were qinjiang. Much cheaper feeling materials than gates.

bhinch I just ordered 2 belts from scooterbelt.com and will never order single one from them anymore if they don't send me at least one new belt.
Another one was 15mm too long compared to another one. I discussed about that by email with them. They said that there might have been some depris in my variator which caused this stretching. But no way as I drive only 25 miles using that belt and it felt always very slippery and I opened variator and noticed that it was way toooooo long. And I always clean my variator and clutch with break cleaner spray when I install something to my variator.
So I tried to ask them what they think have happened with that belt. The only answer was that they have never had any problem with belts. Then we discussed that I send it back. They will look the belt and send me another one back. Now I'm waiting another belt from them, but hardly believe they will send me another. And sending belt back to them cost me over 15 dollar if i remember right.
And what about that another their belt. First it was exactly same width than my 6000 miles ridden gates powerlink 918 belt. I measured them both. But 100 miles after this new another belt is also already stretched 5mm and started slipping as hell. It even started to wear and go really small dust. My driving plate was full of that black rubber dust which caused that slipping.
No any belt should stretch 5-15mm when used only 25-100 miles. So I bought two belts from them and even sent another one back so they can figure out if there has been some problem in their belt "factory" or something. If they don't send me even one back as complement (I think I deserve at least two), I will write negative commet of scooterbelt.com in every scooter forum I know. But if they are good people and send me another new one I will give it a change. But as I said I don't believe they will send me new one because I live another side of earth. It is easy to fool people who lives that far.
Now I put that good old used and unstretched gates powerlink 918 belt back and no slipping at all. That's why I want new powerlink. It is good, trustworthy and long lasting belt.

As we cfmoto 244cc owner know the right belt size is 918 x 22,5 x 30.
But it seems to be hard to find gates powerlink that size. But there is a lot of 906 x 22,5 x 30 size powerlink.
Is there big difference with these belt sizes? Have any of you tried that shorter belt?
I just cant find international seller for 918 size. But there is many seller for 906 size.

Is it really so that anyone of you haven't been thinking of DRL led system? Or is this hot only in european? Almost any of new cars have these. Audi, vw, lexus, opel, alfa romeo,... Even in some new motorcycles have these.

If you install afterwards some electric like 12v socket, digital volt meter, radio, alarm, grip heaters, extra lights, extra leds or anything... It is good to use relays, fuses and own wires for those electric parts. That's how you can separate them from scooters own wiring. Then if you someday have anykind of electric problem it is much easier to find where the problem is because you can easily disassemble your electric parts one by one just by taking fuses off.

Did you just cut and solder the wires or used the twist method and plenty of electrical tape? Do not ever use twist and tape for wires or soon you will have problems again!!! Why don't you just do good at first time and get rid of future problems. I nearly always use these abiko connectors and solder wires to them. And shrinking tube on also after soldering. That bottom row and second one from the left is great. You can easily share your wire if needed. Like if you have relay for your after installed 12v socket. You can share that hot wire easily with for example digital volt meter. Of course don't use those share connectors for important wires like charging wire or HID light wire.

Hey guys have any of you tried DRL led light systems to your scooter? Like this I didn't find any black or dark gray scooter picture for photoshopping. This was the only large picture I quickly found from google which shows scooter front. I think those might look good in black or dark gray scooter. Maybe I will give them a try. Wiring is easy to make. Just connect wires to those little daytime running light wires. Don't even need to remove front plastic when connecting from underneath.

First check all the ground wires that they have good connection. Grounding is often the reason for low volts in certain circuit.

By the way. I did that air scoop to the bellypan with dremel. It did not help at all. Fan was on just as much as without scoop. I guess I will close that scoop to keep my engine cleaner.

Yes I can reach also. But someday you will break that connector. Some sort of swich would be better. Hmm.. I guess when you once disconnect it. You don't often reconnect it again. Good spare bulb

Damn! I guess I have to face the truth. Today I tried to connect that low amp fan directly to battery and stared engine with HIDs on. Not enough charging power I guess I just have to do the modification so that one HID is burning at the LOW light and both when using HI light. I guess I need one more relay for that. Edit: I just tested that by disconnecting another ballast wire connection. With just one HID on and fan on I got 13.33v when idling. And when I rev up to 4000rpm I got 14.70v. That is the best solution. Next question is which one let to burn when driving using LOW light?
