I saw this scoot in a VW mag and I was wondering what kind it was? Looks pretty sweet!

That is exactly what I was thinking Alley but I had THOUGHT that maybe a little JB Weld would help. It seems as though it may be a lose, lose situation either way. When I put the washer and hut on it I hit it with the impact and them put muscle on it and it still worded itself loose. I do not want to tear down but I am willing to do this again if I have to.

McCray's Law says if it is going to happen it is going to happen to me. I have learned to roll with the punches learn from my mistakes and not be afraid to try new things when old things don't seem to want to work. The problem is that I do not have the world quit in my vocab. Here is a pic of the slot for the key for the magneto. The magneto was fine but the crank, well we will see.

For some odd reason my magneto and woodruff key become enemy's and fight against one another. I have had the magneto sheer off or warp the woodruff key to the point where the magneto will rotate itself loose and distort the slot that the woodruff key goes in. I put lock tite on the nut for the magneto and muscle and it still walks loose. I am at the point where I do not know what to do to fix the slot the key goes into so I can get moving again. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to get another crank to fix this issue.

It will move over but its hitting against the swing arm. I had thought about heating it up and moving it a little. That mounting bracket is very popular and in my opinion not very good.

I need to figure out a good way to mount my exhaust. Right now the swing arm and the exhaust mounting brackets. I can not find bolt to screw into the case and for some odd reason it just doesn't fit right. Here is a small pic of it and I hope this helps.

Alley, With all the headaches I have had trying to achieve more than the law will allow, 35 is better than nothing. i wish I could drive a car but the doctors and the law will not allow that either so I am kinda stuck with scooters.

Guys that is exactly what I was thinking. I just checked the Honda website and the price of a ruckus is 2770$ before taxes. The warranty is the exact same. Until speaking with Alley on this forum I have never heard of Ice Bear and I want something I can get on and ride now. have my endless hot rod project.

Thanks Alley. I am a glutton for punishment, we will see what this thing will do. I will definitely keep you posted on both the successes and failures of this project. Unlike in other forums you are very kind and helpful regardless of how crazy the thoughts and or questions are. Thanks for that Alley!!

I had my heart set on a Ruckus until I saw the new Ice Near. Now I am torn, I have some experience with Honda's reliability as far as cars go but I am unaware of the reliability of either of these companies when it comes to scooters. Thoughts and opinions are welcome!!!

30mm OKO. I am going to need luck. I got the link after I placed the order for the other. I looked around the net and found nothing for jets, and figured what the hell. After looking at the Flatside it is a beast of a di9fferent color. If all else fails I still have the CVK and all the stuff to go with it. I will keep trying. But a new scoot is in the future.

this is my last ditch effort to go for the a carb if this doesn't wok the project is going to be over and I am gong to settle either on a Ruckus or and Ice Bear. The carb came with a #138 and I downsized to a #122. I have to wait until Tuesday to get the cable in but once that is in I will try it and see what I can do.

Thanks Alley, I had looked around for those jets and got frustrated and found a deal on a OKO Flatside. I am going to be throwing it on this afternoon. My biggest concern is messing with the throttle cable. Hopefully I will have this thing running today.
