clean carb really good, adjust air/fuel mixture, then add sea foam to your tank.
Allyoop, gave you great advice....valves are the culprit about 85% of the time. At least you can check that off and move to the next thing..carb cleaning.

The Honda Elite 110 is manufactured in Honda's plant in Guanzou China. It is a Chinese scooter.. Honda, Apple, and most things are now made there.....interesting. They sure had some oversight on this scoot. It is so smooth, and solid. Wife loves it.

I have a Chinese scoot, which I love. I want to get another scooter for my wife, but I want something more dependable or at least one that doesn't need as much tinkering. I am thinking of getting her the Honda Elite 110cc.
Tell me what you know about it, please! Good or bad.

Buggy Parts NW is a proud 2012 no Google ad supporter. Click on the banner below to go to Mike's site: This might sound a little ignorant, but what is a "no google ad supporter?"

Here is a link to another forum/thread that really explains alot about variator weights. scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi....ay&thread=38910 Well, I tried it twice and for some reason you cannot link from this forum to the other forum. It is written by "lefty" and is one of the best write-ups for understanding the variator, weights, and their performance.

Hey welcome beachbum, what kind of a scoot do you have? It's a 150cc Verona by Znen...old school looking. Thanks for asking! I wish I would have bought a scoot years ago...they are a blast.

i thought the tank breathes through the overflow? i know my overflow is good, if i go over 4$ i get gas everywhere lol. thats a good thought though beachbum =) start with the simple and work your way into the more difficult hypotheses. I don't have an overflow. If I over filled it the fuel would get sucked up the avaporation system and soak the charcoal canister. It caused problems. I plugged it all and then drilled a hole in my gas cap.

You might check to see if your fuel vent is blocked. With a quarter tank, take off your gas cap and put a rag, so that it doesn't splash everywhere, and go for a drive. I had a problem like this. I drilled a hole in my gas cap and it allowed it to breath.

I"ll tell yah guys. I knew nothing about scooters, and when I found these forums it was like cool water in a desert It's my new hobby and it is great to learn from all of you. Most are just enthusiastic about scooters....I hope the trouble makers get back to what it should really be all about. Anyway, to all the scooter enthusists thanks for making it fun.
