Was thinking about some kind of logo. I've got the Linhai (engine) logo eps and have been trying to find a Roketa vector file.

I am experienced with rattle cans. I grew up building plastic models.
I am thinking about putting a silver pin stripe at the edge of the black or an offset black pin stripe next to the black.

? Sad death that needn't have happened. I saw an old guy with no shirt riding a brand new Sportster today. I'd rather melt wearing a jacket than lose my skin on asphalt in an accident.

This should be my final mockup. How would reflective white look in the daytime? Do you think this design would be good in reflective white? Print by mjkeogh303, on Flickr

Hi Everyone, Just wondering, how long did it take you new riders to feel comfortable riding on busy streets? I have been practicing on side streets and parking lots, but I am still a bit worried about venturing out. I still don't feel completely comfortable making turns from a complete stop but I am ready to do some real riding, just don't know when is the right time. Is it more of a gut feeling that will let me know when I am ready or is it one of those things I just need to do? Any suggestions? I have a JCL 250cc. Some folks say I should of started out with a smaller bike but I feel if I can tackle this scooter, any other scooter will be a piece of cake! Thanks in advance and enjoy your 4th! It may be worth your while to check out one of these riding schools in your area. www.ridealive.net/www.iwanttoride.com/Each of these schools provide the motorcycles. I wish I had gone this route just so I could learn the basic operation of a regular motorcycle before learning scooters. I bought a 150cc scooter in 2009 and just practiced around the neighborhood and city streets. Later I ventured out into the countryside. One step and a time. Today I have the MC-54-250B. Wear the proper safety gear for your best protection. I wear a mesh armored jacket in the summer, fingerless padded gloves to protect my palms if I crash, work boots to protect my ankles, and of course, a helmet.

Fixed: starter button, was worn out.
The second gen Vino is prolly slightly different than the first gen because it is fuel injected. Just in case I really wanted a color coded diagram.

Yeah, I seen that too. That model is older (model year 2000), the new ones are XC50. In 2006 they changed from 2-stroke to 4-stroke and changed the model code.
2007 YAMAHA XC50 VIN: LPRSA30A57AXXXXXX
World region: Asia
Manufactured in: China
Year: 2007

Anybody know where I can find a wiring diagram for the Yamaha Vino? My Googling hasn't come up with anything.

Will a Honda Reflex headlight reflector and lens fit our scooters? If so, is it better than our Chinese reflectors and will it take the heat from higher wattage bulbs?

I'm just few hours away in Upstate South Carolina. I wish I could make that trip, but I'd rather have a partner to go with. I had thought I heard the police were cracking down on the crazies, and making sure everyone stays in their own lane.

i was thinking of going to a junkyard and obtaining a couple of those running lights from a newer car and cutting the old assemblies up and plastic welding the new reflector assembly onto the current lens, has anyone tried this radical mod? was definitely going to put a couple vent holes in too in case of heat build up. Do you mean to replace your stock headlight, assembly and all? There's a guy out there in cyberspace (not on this forum) who has a Kymco Agility onto which he vaccuformed an automobile projector beam light. It was very professional work, but prolly cost way too much.

yoster: Now we're getting down to semantics. CVT = continually variable transmission. It transmits power from the engine to the rear wheel. So in reality, it is correct to call it a transmission. When one starts choosing oils to work with gears, you do have to take into consideration the types of metals involved and the kind of forces taking place. Granted, our scooters are quite basic, and that is why I went with the consensus and used basic 75W90.
