I had to make a bracket to relocate the left bottom shock mount so that it would match up with the rite side. Attachments:

Update got the top shock mount done, left bottom mount done, and exhaust mounted.I think all I have left now is to hook up the cooling system and the wiring. Attachments:

Definitely wrong can. I just measured a stock 50cc cam. About 51.8mm

Your best bet is to measure your carb. The stock 150cc carb I have measures 44mm. If you go to big it won't titan down and you will drop your air filter on the road somewhere.

I don't have a diagram but the only places I have seen them are on the frame rails under the seat or under the "step through" AKA floorboard.

That's a good reason to buy a machined case! Otherwise it come down to what you have more of. Time or money.

There are some smaller ones designed for small Honda engines but the price will make you shudder. Like $150+.

Yep, sometimes it seams like when the pistons are extended they hold an air bubble that don't want to come out.

I have never tried it but there was a company selling kits for scooters and forged pistons to withstand it. I would worry about the connecting rod though. It seams to be a weak point on the 50's.

Both are easy fix. It really shouldn't take more than hour to diagnose and fix so figure there labor rate plus parts.

I'm assuming that the master cylinder was working fine before. They can be very difficult to lead. I push the pistons all the way in and use a wood wedge to hold them there. Then put Teflon tape on the threads of the bleeder valve and use a vacume leading kit. People have removed earner the master cylinder and lowered it to below the caliper or removed the caliper and raised it above the master and bled them the regular way. Eather way you get the air to go up.

Fuel Tank

The down side of having a fuel tank that low is that you would have to use a fuel pump. Lots of scoots have them but it adds one more thing that can give you trouble.
Best thing I ever saw a horn button used for was on a friends FZR1000. It activated the NOS.

It can be done. You have to split the case, remove the crankshaft, put the case back together, grind it out, split case and clean, and then reassemble.

I used a air grinder with a drum sanding attachment on a 50cc.If the 150cc are the same the cylinder is located on the dowel pins not the cylinder opening. This means you just have to open uip the crank case enouf to fit the cylinder. It dose not have to be precise. Just remember to clean everything very carefully! You don't want mettle shavings in your oil.
