Good job. I was able to get a few hundred miles out of mine after alignment before the shakes returned. I wish you luck with that RT. You def. Have a lot more patience than me lol. I gave up on mine with just under 4,000 miles. My problems began at under 800 miles. I've got a lot of patience but it was just too much for me to handle and @ around 3500 miles I purchased the Burgy. That Burgy is a heavenly machine. The sunny is opposite. I think its spawned from Satan himself.

This is a dream machine! I've put 6,100 trouble free miles on the burgy in about 7 months. I've taken a few ALL DAY cruises. Just got off of a 296 mile ride today. I love this machine!

I would not recommend a MC_D300tkb Roadrunner 300cc reverse trike because they are nothing but junk. I know of 6 people that own them and only 1 has theirs still running and that is new2scootn. And Sunny aka scooterdepot.us aka Sunny motors aka sunny powersports is the worst business i have ever had to deal with. I can not believe they are even still in business. They flat out lie to their customers and track phone numbers. If I call using my cell they automatically put me on hold for at least 30 minutes. If I call using a different number they answer normal and willing to help the person on the other end. They know when I call I am having to BUY more PARTS for the JUNK product they have their name on. It would be hard to flip them. I have had veteran expert motorcycle riders get on mine and immediately get off and say how dangerous they are. (they turning is what gets them everytime)

Update: Got the CDI from Sunny and installed. The trike starts a little better and easier but still nothing like the Burgy. I guess Scooter Dept aka Sunny has changed its name once again. The Package said Motorsports Depot. Still same unprofessional packaging. They wrap a part in bubble wrap and throw it in a box. No receipt, bill of sale, nothing...........

Did a trickle charge on the battery and the trike ended up cranking up. Still kick backs when cranking though. I found a CDI cheaper than sunny and it was listed as a CDI for "Yamaha YP250 LH170MN Linhai VOG 250-300cc" I put it on and did not get any kick back. It sounded like a normal engine turning over when trying to crank. The only problem was I couldn't get the engine to fire. So I put back on the oem CDI. The kick back sound started back up but the engine fired. I just put in a order for a new CDI from Sunny. I'm going to try and crank the trike every day and let it run for a few minutes. I let it sit for 5 days before (when I had the issue cranking it) so the battery was drained a little.

I'm having a hard time starting my trike. When I push the starter button the engine will sometimes turn over properly but most of the time its sounding like a kick back. And now along with the kick back I get a spinning noise like the starter is just free spinning. Does this sound like a starter problem, CDI problem, or the starting clutch again?

Thank you New2scootn, but when ordering my water pump I was using part numbers and Chris from Sunny told me they don't use part numbers. Why have them then right? That company is a joke. Maybe thats the reason they CAN'T send the correct parts half of the time. With google searching of the belt they sent me I found this: absolutelyscooterparts.net/catalog/gates-powerlink-drive-belt-p-681.htmlI also called Sunny this afternoon and they re-confirmed that the 856 is the correct belt. They also told me the belts usually last between 3,000 and 4,000 miles. They told me that before I even told them how little miles I had on it. Either they are busy with hundreds of unsuspecting customers or customers that need parts for these junk scooters because EVERY time I call I am placed on hold for at least 10 minutes.

I just looked online and it appears to be the correct belt.(the most common replacement CVT drive belt for the Yamaha Linhai )
The belt that they sent is the "Gates Powerlink 856-23."

I had to order parts that I wasn't sure if any other part stores had compatible parts. So I just ordered a new belt while I was at it. I have never opened up the cvt box so I didnt know the size of the belt.

Alley, everything about this trike is CHEAP. Yea big time bummer, its going to be at least another week or two before I get her fixed up well enough to sell. Thats if the belt is the correct belt that I ordered from Sunny. They have been known to not send the correct parts. They have sent wrong parts on 3 occasions already. So i'm hoping that the extra belt that I have from them is the right size and all. I have to try and figure out how to the get the CVT belt cover off too. The cover is touching the body so that means I have to possibly take part of the body panels apart just to get the cover off.
Oh and the kickback issue, it seems to start better and not kickback as much when its warmed up. But I just showed a buddy, that trailered the trike home for me how she cranks, and it was hard to crank. tried it again and she cranked right up. Third time trying it once we got her unloaded, she was hard to crank again.

Alley, its always done it. I have a new problem now. I was going to fuel her up and try and sell the trike. While doing a test run to the gas station I hear a "chatter" in the cvt belt area. Well 2 miles from the house the cvt belt broke. I had to walk home. 3872 miles was all the belt got on it.
