It did not stall. When I'm able to get it cranked it runs perfect. I uses Valvoline motorcycle oil 10w 40 saw.sae. there was a new coil wire installed recently and valves adjusted.

Been having trouble starting my sunny 300cc reverse trike. I'm pretty sure my starter is not fully engaging which is causing the motor not to crank. In the video, doesn't it sound like my starter is not fully engaging?

Hey new2scootn, I paid a guy to adjust them but he is going to show me how to do it. He is also going to do some work with the transmission to see if I can get more speed. The trike is running about the same. I just got done with a long 75 mile round trip ride. It was a nice ride. I was riding with the big boys over to a local bike night. Hit a little rain but overall the ride was nice. I am still getting a wobble when slowing down sometimes. I will let it ride until it gets worse and then maybe have to do a front alignment again.

Looks like I will have to remove body panels to get to my flywheel. And my valve cover looks like it may be hard to get to as well.

Quick ride clip riding my sunny 300cc reverse trike using my extreme i-Kam sports glasses.
wind noise is bad. You can hear my radio in the beginning of the clip.

I am wanting to check my valves since I have close to 2200 miles on my sunny reverse trike. How long does checking/adjusting the valves take? Is it as easy as changing the oil? I'm considering letting a certified mechanic shop doing it.

Good luck daddue11, hope Liberty can get back on the road soon. The guy you posted about from youtube ended up selling his 300 and buying Japanese. He said there is a worlds of difference with quality between the two. I think my wobble is creeping back. I'm going to check all the bolts in the front tomorrow and check my alignment rods.

Hey claritysailing, I've never owned a motorcycle before. It's hard to describe the steering characteristics for these trikes. It's kinda like a atv but kinda like a motorcycle too i guess. I have heard veteran motorcycle riders have had to learn new things when riding these trikes. My trike does 63mph at full speed and I have gotten up to 76mph with a strong wind behind me helping. The more miles I get on my trike, the better she seems to ride. I have made a couple of abrupt maneuvers with no issues. Avoided a dog and a board laying in the road. The only small complaint I have is the quality of how the trike is put together. MY biggest complaint is about the importer of these trikes. Sunny powersports, aka scooter depot, aka sunny motor, is the absolute worse company I have ever dealt with. They are rude, unprofessional, and don't send correct parts. My dealer (extreme-scooters.com) Dave Bergman is a pretty bad experience as well.

I had to call my dealer to find out it was most likely on because of a reminder to change my oil. He told me the light also warns of low oil pressure as well. Every oil change I press the button to reset the timer now.

Try pressing the button under "oil change" on the right side of the ash console. I had the same scare but found out it was just a reminder of a oil change after so many miles.

I get kickbacks when starting mine. When I was having my ignition coil problem the mechanic was telling me I had a bad cdi which was causing the kickbacks. Is my CDI possibly a cause for my speed issue? Good to hear alley!
