I'm going to have to either seperate the side panels or remove the entire foot rest panel to remove the CVT belt cover. I haven't done it yet. Maybe when I have some down time I can spend more time on it. The fastest I can get so far is 72mph and 6000rpm with wind helping me. Going into the wind my RPM drops down to around 4800-5000 and speeds between 51-58mph. It's been quite windy around these parts for about a week. But from what I can recall with no wind I get about 5200 RPM with a speed of 60 MPH. I noticed too with the wind blowing on my back and the speed of 66+ I don't get the loss of power at full throttle. But when going into the wind and max speed of 51-58mph I get loss of power more at full throttle. It happened 5 times in a stretch of about 15 miles going against the wind. Going with the wind it only had that loss of power once in the 15 miles.

I have not looked at my CVT belt yet. I only weigh 165 lbs. I did fill up with Shell v-power 93 octane and added fuel medic. I also changed the spark plug. I did a oil change too. Today I took a trip about 15 miles out of town. It was very windy. I was able to get the RPM up to 6000 and a speed of 70mph. That was with help of the wind. On the return trip I was riding into the wind and could only reach 5000 rpm and speeds between 51- 56 mph. To get the cvt belt cover off do I have to remove all the bolts along with the set of screws? I see there are outside bolts along with screws that are attached to a black circular plastic piece.

Ok, while the trike was on the center stand I recorded the following:
4500 RPM the speed was reading around 55mph
6500 RPM the speed was reading around 78mph
I did not want to go higher than 6500 RPM even though I still had more throttle available. At 6500 RPM the engine sounded like it was close to its limit.
On the road I get around 6000 RPM at full throttle and a speed of 60- 62 mph reading on the speedometer. I rarely get higher than 64 mph. On the day I noticed my back tire was out of round I got her up to 68 mph and on the return trip home it got up to 73 mph. That was before the tires were balanced and a out of round rear tire. At that speed I was holding on tight and praying a little lol. It was far from a smooth ride. The trike rides smooth now and I wish it can get back up to cruising speed of at least 65 mph. I may be brave enough to take a real trip out of town if I can get higher speeds.

I'm curious about everybody's Max speed for yalls 300cc trikes. I have a sunny reverse trike. I can get a steady 62mph. I sometimes get up to 66mph. One day I got up to 73mph but I think I had wind helping.

With the new rear tire and all tires balanced it is a world of difference with the vibration. I got the trike up to 66mph and she rode as smooth as my Raptor with almost no vibration! Smothest ride I've had since owning the trike. I just need to figure out how to get some more speed out of her. We have flat roads around here and I have gotten 73 mph once but today the trike only got up to 66mph and was able to maintain 64mph. I got loss of power on the long full throttle run but I'm going to fill up my tank and see if I can get a longer full throttle run before attempting the new2scootn fix.

The only thing he adjusted was the alignment rods. He stated they are not designed properly. He said they should be attached another way. I don't remember exactly how he said they should be attached. He also said the front shocks shouldn't move at all. I'm assuming he is comparing it to a side by side or a 4 wheeler. Bu

No parts replaced. He just kept adjusting the front tires until they quit fighting one another which was causing the wobble. He said that the way the front is poorly designed it is very sensitive when it gets out of alignment.

Picked up my trike yesterday evening. The mechanic tried over 30 different settings and finally found the "magic number" for the front alignment. The wobble is gone. The steering is very sensitive now. And I can make tighter turns now. I noticed before the wobble issue, I could only make wide left turns at a red light. I could make tight turns if I was going at a slower speed. But now it seems to make turns better. I also noticed at around 55mph I do not have the vibration or "bounce" anymore from the front tires. The balancing does help in that department! I will be making about a 35 mile trip this afternoon and will be able to tell yall more on how she really is driving.

The shop has been awful quiet too. My scooter is still in there. He is the most popular in town because he is one of the best. I will check in again at the end of next week to see what's up with it.

Thanks guys. I'm still around. The trike is still in the shop. The mechanic has been quite busy. He is still working on mine. He says nothing with the bushings Loos bad but he thinks the issue is the front tires need to be aligned at a certain degree to make them work. I have a feeling though he will realize it may be something else after he spends a little more time working on it. The mechanic is a motox racer and he even thinks the trike is dangerous. I'm not sure if he is talking about the wobble or the way the trike is designed to ride. I know it took me a while to learn how to ride her. When she works I love her. But I didn't make this major purchase to have it constantly broke down. Very disappointed.

Hate to hear that daddue11. Glad you weren't injured as that sounded like a dangerous situation. I talked to a guy on youtube that had the same thing happen to his. He ended up selling his roadrunner 300 and bought a Yamaha Majesty 400. He said there is a world of difference in build quality and performance. I need to go by and check on mine. I'm kinda afraid the mechanic might just give up on it. I think I will wait another day or two before I go check in on it.

I would check mine frequently and only once did I find a upper one a bolt that was a little loose. I know when I first received the trike I had a bad wobble and found lugnuts loose and a few of the bolts in the front suspension were loose. I didn't do my own PDI on the trike. I assumed everything would be ok because I had it fully assembled at Sunny before they shipped it. They even mounted the right front tire in the wrong rotation. :/ I took the trike to a ATV/ Motorcycle repair shop that specializes in offroad, motox, racing ATV's. I'm hoping they can figure out the wobble issue since those motox type ATV's have a similar front end. They briefly messed around with it and was unable to find a issue with any bushings. But they assured me that they can more than likely find the problem. I've got my fingers crossed. Took it to the shop Tuesday. Hoping to hear something by this Thursday.

Just the middle man and the scooters are manufactured in china so there isn't much they can do.

I bought my mc_d300tkb from Dave. Have had some issues with it. Dave would send vague email replies and. Sometimes none at all. He has gotten better at the replies though only after I made a complaint. I went over his head and tried to fix my issues directly through Sunny (scooterdepot.us) I am really surprised that Sunny is still in business. That company has horrible customer service and I've read its no different with the dealers. I think Dave's hands are tied when having to get parts or service. I know if I was a dealer I would drop them after getting my name turned to mud. But sunny does not stand behind their name. They have even told some customers they are ju
