I got my slow starter issue resolved it was the bendix, but now it cranks fine but won't start it will let out a loud pop every so often but doesn't turn over cam is timed perfect, new carb new coil, not sure what the issue is, i'm starting to think this kit is a dud. this is kit number 23 that ive done and never had these issues. first kit from this new seller too.

what is strange there is no ground wire to the frame or to the valve cover it looks to be all hooked to the battery.

I have a a9 cam i would get it running with stock cam first, then do the upgrades. Then if problems pop up you can go back to the last thing you did. 88 jet with 47mm piston should be fine.

I removed my egr didn't improve performance, it ran the same, just another thing you don't have to worry about going bad.

I put in a new starter motor and it still drags even hooked to the car battery and still no start, could the battery be bad, if you jump the battery with a car battery with jumper cables if the battery in the scoot has low cranking amps, which it does would that make the starter drag. I checked all the grounds they seem good i'm kind of at a loss, it drags when you jump the solenoid also.

Stay organized keep all the bolts and parts together take your time, don't forget your locator dowels, oil the mess outta of the piston and jug before you try to compress the rings and slide it over the jug onto the case, put the left circlip in the piston before you fit it on the crank, be careful not rip the base gasket, dont over tighten any bolt they break, change the oil when you do the install and let it run 10-20 minutes on the center stand before you give it throttle, then zoom away smiling.
