Also what damage might have occurred if that is the problem?

Back again... smh So I gapped (gap was soo small and mpg was worse than a car) the plug and put it back. Then I noticed it was going a little slower, so I firured it was a too big of a gap.(.035) When I pulled it out it was the same small gap Why did this happen? IE: I installed a 100cc 50mm bbk Enigine is a GY6 139QMB Same spark plug I bad when I got the scooter (A7TC)

No gap at all! So no compression . the air was running straight through. I did an eyeball adjustment at first and it started no problem but with a lot of ticking. Then I got a feeler gauge and fixed it.

The engine is a GY6 139QMB
I know the range is .028-.032 and some people like .035...
But what have you had success with?

What should I expect after? Like preformance wise, gas millage, anything.
My friend told me not to go past 72cc because it would mess other things up???
I didn't listen I went 100cc "50mm"

Don't panic! Is it spinning free without compression or it just won't fire? Is the started engaging? Maybe it's just spinning but not catching.
Pull the valve cover and hit the starter. Make sure the cam and valves are working. Then check your valve gap and make sure it's correct. Just because they were correct before the build means nothing. A new cam and head can dramatically change things.
If a valve is too tight it will hold open and you won't have compression. The engine then just spins free when you hit the starter. A 50cc is around .002" on each valve, maybe a touch more on the exhaust.
If everything is OK with the valves then the spinning might be from a broken piston ring. THEN it would be time to panic. [/quote ^^^^ Thnx! it was the valves. Could I have messed anything up by having them too tight and trying to start it? I herd the valves could bend, but its running pretty decent now. Now a big top speed difference but better acceleration.

I'm too lazy to recheck the timing. I think its right. If it were hitting the valves wouldn't that cause a noticeable problem? Revs nice, starts after one or two turnovers. Not much faster after bbk though just slightly better acceleration. What should I expect? Speedometer's broken but i'm pretty sure i'm topping 40. Pro CDI, coil and 85 carb jet have been added.

What all would "up gearing" entitle? Around how much would I have to throw into this money pit? I fixed it with a soldering iron. But otherwise I think your idea is the only way. I would take a pic but i'm too lazy and already fixed it. But thank you.

I put a 100cc 50mm kit on it
People told my its really like 87.7cc or something
But after the install its harder to turn over. Even the electic start stuggles. Then I let off and try again
It's as if it gets stuck at a curtain point, but when its past it it's good.
What could this be?
Gy6 139qmb

Ok so you know how the coil plugs up to the spark plug, and on the other end are two pins you plug two other wires too. Well those wires look SUPER cheap and thin to be carrying electricity. And when upgrading the coil one even broke, so i'm using tape to hold it in place. The bike misfires at high RPM like it wants to go faster but cant. Sometimes it gets loose while riding and the engine drops to like 15mph from 35. I pull over fix it, then go about my bussiness. On the other hand What is this wire call so I can replace it? I installed a 50mm bbk still the same speed if not slower, but slightly better acceleration. Any ideas?

So I got everything on.
Pushed the electric starter and it tries and the fly wheel moves, but thats all.
No "put put" or even pressure coming out of the exhuast.
I did not adjust valves yet. I wanted to at least get it to try to start before I mess with it, so worst case I can put the stock back on and not worry about it, because I don't have a feeler gauge yet
I took off the valve cover and cranked it and I see the cam chain moving and the valves moving.
Please help me, this is my only ride to work.

Ok so I got everything on fine. And I go to crank it up. And All I hear is the starter. No put puts like its trying to turn over. No puffs out the exhaust. Just the starter and fly wheel moving.
Now im back in panic mode.
