It's possible, but I still wish I had an explanation. You don't simply let someone go without telling them what they did wrong! Right?

Not my day.

It is just not my day today, you guys!
I woke up this morning ready to take on the world! But.. My dad had a job for me before I went to work at 12 AM. He needed me to go down the street and wait for ASA Builder Supplies to deliver some material for a job he is going to work. I was told to be there at approximately 9 AM. Come 9 AM, I am there, parked on the side of the street, with my emergency flashers on to indicate that I won't be moving for awhile (until ASA gets there). Come 9:20, still no sign of ASA. 9:40, ASA still hasn't arrived.
9:45: A police car pulls up behind me Welp, there goes my good mood
Apparently somebody called the police on me, saying that there was a "suspicious" white vehicle parked in the neighborhood. Thankfully the cop left me alone after I explained to him that I was waiting on some supplies.
It was 11:20 AM when ASA finally got there, 2 hours and 20 minutes behind schedule. I was half expecting somebody else to call the police on me for sitting there for an hour and a half, thankfully nobody did.
I had to rush home and get ready for work at 12, so I went home, got ready, and made my way to work. I got to work, said my hello's to my co-workers outside, walked inside and said good morning and got ready to work (I was scheduled for 7 hours today). There had been a delay in my check, so I was half expecting to be called into the management office eventually to get paid, and it looked like today was that day, because one of my coworkers told me I was needed in the office.
So I went to the office, where I was promptly taken to the back, handed a check for $300, and told to go home, because I no longer worked there. "It just wasn't working out".
So now I'm unemployed, too.
Today SUCKS

So it's getting cold again, a chilly 46 degrees today, and we're preparing to put our scooters away, because we know winter is coming. Last year when we stored them, we left them the entire 6-7 months without being started (with fresh oil (tranny and motor) and stabilized gasoline). When we got them out of storage, I kicked my scooter over twice to get it running, straight from storage, so that was great!
But my real question is what kind of effects that such a prolonged time of not moving have on the GY6 engine? How often should it be started so that it doesn't seize up?

If you ever have a throttle stick you would sure wish you had a kill switch. With a cable operated throttle it can very easily happen. I had a 427 Nova and the throttle stuck wide open in first gear I didn't know whether to chit or go blind. Yes, I do suppose I would wish I had a kill switch, if it weren't for the fact that I could just turn the key off. It's literally right underneath my dashboard, it wouldn't be that hard for me to just turn it off. If the key was in some very weird place I can imagine needing a killswitch. Then again I can imagine the safety issues, having to take one hand off the handlebar to turn off the key, also. I wouldn't might a kill switch, but for me it's not a necessity. I don't have room for a killswitch anyways, and I really don't want to be drilling out plastic to put one in! Now if by some reason your throttle got stuck wide open, your killswitch lost its ground, and so did your ignition switch, well....hold on tight..and also press on the brakes as hard as possible! What would you even do if that was to happen? A loss of ground to both ignition and kill switch (the spark plug could not be grounded) and your throttle was stuck wide open...hmm? I do know it's possible for the killswitch to break. My brothers VIP had a killswitch that sometimes did and did not work, and it affected his ignition, too. So at random you could just start his scooter. Imagine if his throttle was stuck wide open..

Besides, don't blame the Chinese if the government doesn't do its job. Rocket has a headlight switch that lets me ride without it on, no kill switch and all gears upshift down and downshift up. Isn't there a standardization guideline that Fed DOT is supposed to follow that says shift on the left, first gear down, all others up? New York calls Rocket a moped with a top speed of 30 mph. Want to clock me? How about 250cc scooters, even Japanese, with J rated tires? Max speed 62 mph. I'm not disagreeing with you Randy but as long as vehicles that can be used on the road are sold in crates there will be no oversight-ever. Genuine sells through a dealer network that the Feds can track. The Government hasn't bothered to make online sellers keep those records. That sounds exactly what my scooter does (minus the gear selection). It has a switch that can turn the headlight/running lights off, and it also has no kill switch. I never did understand the need for a kill switch, anyhow.

When you give it gas, the tire doesn't spin at all or its struggling to spin? Your brake pads could be stuck down on the tire, possibly.

Sounds like there could be something wrong with your ignition switch. I'm not entirely sure how to troubleshoot a bad ignition switch. I'm sure somebody that knows their electrical better than I do will be in here, shortly.

It's a 1994, and it is a 4.6. I'll check on that EGR hose when I get home tomorrow.

Oh yes, I'm going into computers. I don't want to lose anymore blood over a vehicle. Although I wouldn't mind doing the computer parts of an automobile.

It's supposed to get down to 44 this Saturday. I hate Michigan. When we lived there my wife and I used to look at people that complained about the weather and shake our heads. Hello...MOVE OUT IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT. Sheesh...... I'll get right on that. Pack up my life and move somewhere else just because of the weather. I'm allowed to hate on the weather. I don't need to move just because I don't like the weather.

My car has had an issue where if it's cold, it will stumble when the accelerator is pressed, so I set out to fix that yesterday. First of all, I thought the TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) was the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve). So I removed the airbox from the intake (which I never had to do in the first place) and then found out that the rubber piece that goes on the snorkel for airbox didn't come with it, so I had to wrestle that back on, and in the meantime I found out that the rubber piece had a tack in it, making me slice myself. And also in the process of removing the bolt that secures the airbox, I sliced myself on a socket that had somehow peeled away and had a sharp sliver of metal (they just don't make Craftsman like they used to...) that will slice you if you touch the socket to pull it off (giant gash in my hand, now). And then I put the airbox back on after I found out that looking into the intake would do me no good, but the hose clamp came apart on me, so I spent 20 minutes trying to get the hose clamp back together around the intake!
And let's not forget that once all that was done, I started it up, and it stalled immediately. Started again, SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE ROUGH IDLE ALERT OH JESUS. And then the car stopped shaking and the idle went really really high, almost as if I was accelerating. I tried to give it a bit of throttle to quiet it down...stall. Started it again, stall. Again, stall. AGAIN, no stall, rough idle, shake shake shake, stall. Started it one last time, quickly put it in drive and gave it gas, no response and then it LURCHES forward. Stall. I was pretty sure I broke something at this point. I actually got it out on the road, gave it full throttle, it stumbled very hard before accelerating normally, but the moment I gave it anything but full throttle, it tried to die. Also full throttle seemed very weak. I got it back in the driveway, went over everything again, disassembled everything and put it back together. Started the engine "CHECK ENGINE" came on, car idled fine. Put it in drive, gave it gas, no response for .5-1 second and then it lurched forward and died. Well...at this point I was sure there was something very very wrong. Popped the hood and realized that I forgot to attach two vacuum hoses to the airbox. Put those back on and the CHECK ENGINE light went out, but the car still stumbled and stalled.
Just for the heck of it I looked one more time, and it turns out that I forgot to tighten a SINGLE hose clamp on the outside of the airbox. Was probably making a very bad leak of fresh air that the MAF couldn't compensate for. Upon tightening said hose clamp, all engine problems went away.
Always tighten your hose clamps.
Now today, due to the increasingly cold weather, the stumble has gotten much much worse. I literally could not accelerate for 10-15 seconds once I left my driveway. Everybody behind me hated me. I'm positive that it's my IAC valve but I can't get to my IAC valve (it's hidden somewhere that I can't get to without some sort of special tool).

That is very odd indeed. I can't personally think of anything that would do that. Your enrichener should have the RPM's higher when you first start the bike, not the other way around. Maybe your valves are a tad too tight and when they warm up and expand it starts to run better, leading to a higher RPM. That's my best guess.
