Thanks M/C!!! Great stems and instructions on how to use them. Life is good.... I was plaining on replacing the stock rubber valve stems before the summer heat kicks in. Now I don't have to go to a shop for the job. This is a very helpful post. Thanks again guys!!!!!

Sorry about your problems but, I agree about the shipping. Not sure about MXM as a business but, I have always been able track any USPS order. Fed Ex SUCKS IMOP. Drop the package ring the doorbell and leave. I had a computer delivered this way. Sat in my driveway for 6 hrs. Glad my neighbors are trustworthy UPS does the same doorbell ring and leave but, usually no shipping damage in my experience.

Does anyone Know of a decent deal for an Impact Wrench? I don't own an air compressor "yet" so, I assume electric is the way to go. I would like one that plugs into a wall socket not an emergency Cigarette lighter plug. I am looking for something that can remove the variator/ clutch nuts and the rear wheel for future mods on my scoot. This is just a good tool to own in my opinion but, I don,t have an air supply or an Emergency Cigarette lighter plug to use.(not sure of name)

CVT mods include roller/slider weight changes. Improved clutch and variator. A better belt!!! I am just glad ya got that scoot running!!! I read some of the ordeal ya went through to get that wheel. I forgot you had rear disk That was the whole problem in the first place if I'm not mistaking. With what you have done the scoot should run well and provide many miles of happiness. Nice lookin scoot BTW all that work paid off!!! If it runs good and your happy don't change a thing!!! Just ride

Sprocket, You rock!!! Sage like advice is a nice complement which I don't think I'm worthy of yet. but, I agree there are better more bang for the buck mods to be done. CVT tuning being about the best. I do prefer the sound of an UNI over the stock box though. I like the loud intake noise. Thats just me, I know some don't like it. As for disk brakes I don't know much. I do know that riding season is coming and its more fun to ride instead of wrench Guy- after that engine does break in you will pick up more top speed and things should run better all around. I would wait till around 800-1000 miles before doing to many mods. Just my Opinion. Keep On Scootin On!!!!

Speaking of oil I am no expert by any means but, It does make a difference. I ran without any filter oil for a long time with no adverse effects on the engine. It depends where you live. I would have waited to get the engine broken in before doing mods but, thats just me. I really hope ya don't have any more problems with that wheel. Again, I'm Glad ya got the scoot up and running Now it time to have fun and ride!!! I agree with Sprocket adjusting the nut on the brake cable may solve your problem.

In my experience the best way to tell A lean or rich condition is to do a Plug Chop. You can just pull the spark plug and look at the color. It should be a nutty brown carmel color. If it's white your lean. If it's wet or kinda black sooty in color your rich. There is a plug color chart here somewhere I just cant find the link. Maybe someone else can help or correct me if I'm wrong. When I first put a pod filter on my 50cc it bogged down immediately. If its running poor you will notice it before WOT. I couldn't make a trip up my driveway without rejetting

That makes sense! Thanks for the info but, why are these engines showing up now? Not enough people upgrading? I am looking to buy a cheap non running scoot with my tax refund for a first time build and thought one of these 80s would make a decent starting point. I look forward to reading more about Betsy!!!

Hello Kitty! I have seen theses stock 80cc bolt on QMB replacement engines on other sites too. The price seems right and if they are "Bolt On" I would love one or five. Keep us posted PJ!!! Never heard of a stock 80cc scoot being sold. Where are the stock scoots with this engine? Are these just a QMB with a BBK?

Workdog-- If the scoot sat that long a good carb cleaning may be in order. That's why I asked. Empty the tank and clean the carb!!! A little Seafoam may help too. If your sure the battery is fully charged, fuel delivery is the next issue to consider.

I would like to think no engineer is stupid no matter what country. Some are just cheaper It takes a lot of thought to make a product that works at half the price Why tinker at all if it works? like I originally posted the Uni is replacing my previous pod filter. My little 50cc likes more air than the stock airbox could provide even with mods. I have tried paper and foam but, my particular engine seems to get better acceleration and about 3-4 mph more top speed with a foam type filter. Experimenting with what works is part of the scooter ownership fun IMO!!! As Alleyoop stated - some like Uni, Some like K&N. I will add that some will never even check the stock filter and ask questions later Plus, an UNI comes with stickers!! When applied an extra 1-2 mph is almost guaranteed

My shipping time was about 2 days longer but, Monstergy6 did not charge my credit card until the product was available and shipped. A lot of stores immediately charge your card at checkout then, you have to wait if the part is unavailable. It may have taken longer to get my parts but, again I was not charged until they were shipped. That's just good business in my book. I will be using Monster again!! My 2Cents.

Oh By the way, did you get a stock airfilter replacement with the UNI brand name or a free flow pod/sock type filter? If ya just replaced the stock airbox filter with a name brand, You don't need to do anything!!! Glad your finally up and running!!! Hows that new engine? Just Ride and be Safe!!!!
