Thought about picking one of those up as a project and saw a couple on CL cheap but I talked myself out of it. They are going for lot's o money fo sho.
I went to the Hot Rod Supernationals in Salem Ohio about a month ago and there were 4 guys tooling around on those CT-70's. Thought that was cool.

I agree with the dirty Prime jet theory. Also make sure your idle screw is set right. Should be about 1400-1600 rpm warmed up.

So I was working on my moped yesterday and I needed some gas to try and start it. So I think, hell, I will just ride the scoot down to the station. My daughter says, "daddy can I go with you?" So we put on our helmets and I put the 1 gallon can under the seat and we jump on the scoot. Now...the battery has been giving me issues. I know I need a new one but I wanted to get the summer out of this one rather than have a new battery sit around all winter, I would just buy a new one next spring. So I turn the key and hit the starter and NOTHING. I think, Damn thing died. I didn't say it cause of my 10 yr. old on the back. So she gets off and I try to kick start it and still nothing. I think HMMMMM oh.... BASHAN. looked at the kill switch, turned it on, hit the key, fired up and away we went.
Dag Gone switch!

Very cool. I just got back into racing about 6 years ago. I raced 20+ years ago My first RC was and RC10 Gold Tub. My Favorite buggy that I ran at the time though was an Losi JRx2 Which I still have MOST OF. I used it in college for my final project which I had to have a partner for and he LOST the entire front end of it. So basicly made my buggy worthless.. :-) Losi was the inovator to the LRM Transmission. At that time the biggest Batt packs you could use was 1200 SCR cells and with th Losi I could get about 7 min out of it. My RC10 I was lucky to get 3 min 30 seconds. Which sucks if when your races are 5 min... That was way to long ago. Times sure have changed wtih all the Lipo Tech, and Brushless. Man do I feel old right now. Damin, Here is a link to the BFast website. xcuse the picture of me, it looks like crap. www.bfastrc.com/mikethomas.html

I strictly run electric 1/10th and 1/12th. Tried 1/8th gas and could not get into it. I am ponsored by Team Losi for off road and Calandra Racing Concepts(CRC) for 1/12th scale and Team BFast for diff products. I used to hav some pictures of my cars, I will see if I can find them.

That's an A35 tomos two stroke motor puting out about 1 HP. Should move the bike and passeger about 30 mph stock and with some mods up to 40 mph, plenty fast enough for my 13 yr. old. Funny you should say that about the RC planes as I am a sponsored RC car driver, never got into planes
