Falling asleep while riding is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard...unless you have Narcolepsy in which case you should be riding or driving anything at all.

What I do not understand is most states license them as a trike and with four wheels you should be licensing it as a car and not need a MC endorsement. As far as I know the states do not specify where the four wheels are to be located, its just assumed. Here in AZ, they license them as a two wheel MC since the kit can be taken off.

I'm moving to So Cal in April. I was there last week and saw a lot of scooters but mostly crotch rockets. I'm moving to the La Habra area. Anyone else from there?

Holy Crap!!! Luke you said something nice!!! Thank you. And thank you to KZ, Cyborg, Mark, and Dave. Yes, Larry got it up and running like a top. I'm taking her out again today. I would have been riding her daily but was in Orange County with my daughter and couldn't take the trike with me. :-)

Last week we took a little trip to Needles, CA on the Ice Bear Trike. It's about a 30 minute drive/ride each way. She didn't give me one ounce of trouble and road great there and back. Leaving Topock, AZ Needles Library Leaving the library and heading back to Topock. I had a great time riding her. She really handles nicely... :-D

In parts of AZ (Mohave County) we don't see snow but OMG the heat in the summers is brutal!!!! It hits 131 at time and it's already starting to warm up here. I'm not looking forward to another super hot spring like last year. I left Iowa because I got tired of having to walk to work in the snow because my car was buried half way in snow.

I've never had any problem with my 50cc TaoTao. I bought it from Bobcat's motor sports out of Stockton, CA. They work with you and have been very good with us. My little TaoTao runs like a champ without a hitch.

I'm so sorry to hear about your niece. We have a few people out here who let their dogs run loose. It's scary sometimes. I'm always afraid they might attack.

Here in AZ, we have to have a drier's license and insurance to ride a moped and an MC license and insurance for anything 40cc and over. We have 2 classes of MC licensing...a J license for 49cc to 150 cc and an M license for all bikes over 150cc. I think, pretty much like everyone else, the rider/driver should have a license and insurance if they're going to ride on the streets. It protects everyone if there's an accident.
