I have posted a few topics on here but I want to say a proper hello from north NJ currently. Besides working and car work, I have been modding and rebuilding my scooters more than riding them, but that will change. Cheers, Chris Welcome...I know you'll enjoy the forum.

Im new to the scooter world. Just got my 1st scooter in yesterday and put it together today Tao Tao Cy50-a 50cc from website ScooterMadness.com I haven't got the scooter to crank yet, and my main head lights wont come on, but the turn sigsnals and all do , so im hoping they will when battery is fully charged and scooter is running.. I hope to be able to learn allot from you Men and make some friends as well.. Glade to be here! Welcome. I have a TaoToa CY50T. After your battery is charged just make sure your kill switch in in the ON position, turn key to On, hold in the rear brake handle, and push the little orange button under the kill switch. It may take a few tries the first time but after that, you shouldn't have any problems. ;D

Thank you Kz for that nice footage. Looks like to enjoyed your short ride surrounded by all the beauty of your town. Here in Mohave County, AZ, fall, winter, and spring, are the best times to ride. The summers hit 122 to 130 degrees...no riding for me in that heat...LOL

I think all China/Japan bikes are very reasonable. My husband just bout a newer Harley and OMG the price he paid is unreal. I'll just stay with my China bikes and save money. That's why I love this site...it's about the scooters not the hogs...LOL

I've bought two from Bobcat's Motorsports. They're friendly, courteous, and they back their scooters. www.bobcatsmotorsports.com ;D

I got both of my scooters, a TaoTao CY50T and an Ice Bear Zondiac-300, from www.bobcatsmotorsports.com and I've had fabulous experiences both times. Beth, the sales person, is incredibly helpful and does everything she can to make sure the customer is happy. I recommend them highly! ;D Attachments:

I love my Chinese scooters. I've found that if you treat them right (oil changes, and preventative maintenance), they tend to last a very long time. ;D

I'm looking for a scooter club in or around Topock, Arizona. I love riding my scoot but would like to join a club to meet other scooterists. ;D

It's a knock off of the Cam-Am Spyder. We looked at one yesterday. I'm not fond of them but I'm sure we'll see a lot of them on the roads very soon.

Hi All...thanks for the warm welcomes. I have a TaoTao CY50T at the moment and I love it. I live out in the desert and when it rains, we get flooded in on what I call our island. My little TaoTao 50cc cuts through the high dirt paths where the cars can't go. It's not a dirt bike by any means but she gets me to the store over the desert rather than having to deal with trying to get my car through the flooded areas. Now it's nice here again and I just ride her, Lil Blue, for fun.
