My scoot came with the longer muffler and by all accounts that is for a 150cc where the shorter fat one in listed for a 50. Whats the difference and why does the longer one come on my scoot? WOuld it run better with the short muffler? Heres the sale page www.motopartsmax.com/index.php/main_page/index/cPath/233/bID/1Heres my scoot with the long muffler from the factory.

Brand new belt. Are they supposed to slip for awhile? Anything I can do to help it?
Maybe run a piece of sandpaper along the edges while its turning?

Actually the position of riding and the handle position would be quite comfy I think. Theres nor real stress on the arms and hope to get on in a few days.

I guess Ill be off the scooter for a few. Having that rotator cuff worked on. Now I'll have to see someone like LUKE to build up some strength and range in it when Im healed.

I dont waive because I refuse to ride one handed on a scooter going 30 plus! Nothing personal. I could just raise my hand a bit but I usually dont do that either. You can ride a full size motorcycle safer one handed. Makes me wonder...are they just waiving to try and kill us all off who ride scoots??

Heat and spring fade have always been an issue with me and 50s. Im guessing the same spring fade on the 150s on up is less noticeable. I find myself tuning weights so that initial rpms are a bit higher but after that couple mile run the rpms are still within the powerband. 500 rpm loss is pretty pronounced on a 50 so I have done what is acceptable for my driving habits. CVT venting doesnt seem to help nor does the brand of contra.
Ive seen quite a few people who have actually isolated this and realize nothing much can be done while others misdiagnose the symptom and spend time trying to fix some other part thats not broken nut merely spring fade.
This is probably the major factor in me upgrading to a 150cc in the future.

Doesnt help. Variator and clutch mods make it more difficult to guess. Stock setups are easier to gauge. Ive seen 70cc kits going with 6gr sliders many times. Stock setups 5 to 5.5 grams are popular.
