Many of you know ive been chasing down a vibration issue for months now and have swapped out numerous clutch assemblies with little or no change. So the other day Im trying different exhaust setups and had one muffler i tried to retro fit from my old TaoTao that required that I change the bracket (swing arm?) So I removed the stock that has never been off before and tried the new one. didint like it so I put back on the old bracket and a different muffler. At the same time i decided to remove the rear tire cover to see how it looked and went for a ride. I then notice that the harmonic vibration Ive been chasing is completely gone! What the heck happened? Was the bracket somehow transfering vibrations ? Was the rear tire cover? The bracket for the exhaust is held on by 2 bolts and I believe they were tight when i removed them and I know were tight when I put them back in. The tire cover has 2 bolts with rubber gromets attached to the exhaust bracket and then theres 2 more bolts on the other side of the motor. Ive never had these bolts out either. So what happened? Im wondering if the rubber gromets between the tire cover tab, exhaust bracket mount and bolt are a clue? In essence this is basically one big piece when all together.

LUKE should relish the forum since no "junk" scooter talk there.

I got the "big" one. Covers to the top of my head. Love it. I used Windex on my old one and guess that wasnt the best way. I found this product. Anybody use it? I ordered it and it should be here in a few days. Do you have to wash it before using it or is it an all in one?

ANy bend in the face might wobble but not grind unless its out enough to scrap the inside of the CVT cover which you should be able to see any scrape marks in there. I think you should look elsewhere.

Not sure how that helps get the variator nut off since the bely wont hold it. Are you calling the clutch the variator?
