So 139qmb 44mm stroker 50mm head Thats a 86.39cc Good Luck I Think I am going to push this engine to the limit. With the gain in torque. If it turns out to be to much I will try a 44mm bbk. Roy

John, Yes I have It on The trike now I just haven't been able to ride it yet. Due to weather other projects, and work. My son still hasn't produced the leads for my o-scope yet But I did order some. Just haven't had time to mess with it yet. In two weeks I am going to burn up some vacation time. I have to use it or lose it, and will devote it to this project. Roy

I took delivery of a new engine today. Now I can finally start this project. I could not find a suitable used engine, so I ordered a new one. (from scrappy).
Hoca 44mm stroker crankshaft
NCY 50mm BBK kit
NCY 50mm head
NCY A9 perfomance camshaft
Hoca performance intake manifold
keihin carburetor.
and various other parts.
I will need to order an 8 pole stator and flywheel. I don't want to pull it off the other engine. Also I still need to decide on a variator and clutch. I am not going to use the efi kit on this engine yet, but probably will later on.

I guess it all depends on how much it is worth to the person buying it. I paid $2700 For the magnum and it only had 80 miles on it. The guy I bought it from paid $4300 for it.

Got to the lower 50's and sunny yesterday. I took the night off work to see a school play my grandson was in. But I did get about an hour ride in. Now it is raining today.

In my never ending quest for more power, I'm wanting to know if I can get a stroker crank for the magnum. This is a 250 engine bored out to 276cc.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I may not be as old and wise as some of ya all. I do have bad knees though and can't hold up a 2 wheeler any more, that's why I got me a couple of trikes.

John, I did install it on the 72cc. It started smother and idled about 200 rpm slower. I took it for a ride to qt about 2 mile. I bought this so when I put the stroker crank in it won't buck when started. Alley my timing light has a knob with a scale on it to advance or retard the light, but won't tell rpm. I use it mostly for checking plug wires. I want to put the scope on it so I can see the phase shift between the trigger coil and the output, also it will show what kind of wave it produces. The boy is supposed to drop by Saturday.

John, I finally got time this morning to try to test that cdi. So I go to the shop to get one of the oscilloscopes and notice that the beckman is gone, no problem Ill just grab the tektronix. So I lug it up to the garage, set it up and reach into the pouch to get the leads. Then I notice there is only one and the tip is missing. Now I'm Thinking out loud That D@?$ boy of mine. So I grab the phone and call him. I Get the classic "Oh ya I forget to tell ya I needed to borrow it" He said he was working on a pulse width modulator for a hydrogen generator and ran out of time at my place. I said I don't mind but what the 7734 happened to the leads? Apparently my grandson was with him and he don't really know what happened. So now he is going to bring them back when he has time. Darn kids. life would be almost boring without them.
