Don't know about you new model. Mine didn't. I replaced the tube type fuse holder with a marine housing spade type fuse. I also ran another #10 gauge wire with a 30amp fuse (fuse at battery end) to a fuse terminal that I installed in the glove box. I did it this way so that I would only have to run one wire up front. I installed the fuse panel in the glove compartment so I wouldn't have to remove any plastic to change a fuse. I still need to fabricate a cover for it though. Roy

The fan on my magnum is behind the radiator and pulls air through the radiator. I hope that I don't have to replace it any time soon, as it will be a major bummer to get out. Like bash said it depends on the design of the fan. I do a lot of computer modding and have several computers with water cooling systems in them. I have done a lot of research on the best way to move air through a radiator. I have found out that fans push air better than pull air through a radiator. With every fan there is a vacuum side and a pressure side, it is easier for these type fans to build pressure(push air) than a vacuum(pull air).

I'm guessing the piston is hitting the plug. Did you check if the piston sticks out of the cylinder at tdc when the bbk was installed? The plug may be threading to far into the head. You can add another compression ring on the plug.

You all are correct, that is the carb drain hose. Notice the valve at the end mounted to the engine. The loose end goes to the bottom of the carb bowl.

Nothing wrong with MY rear end, in fact my wife compliments me about it quite often... ;-) I was thinking... If I end up buying this jcl 250 for say $800, it might be worth the effort to convert it to a trike. If I just flip the 250, I also have my eye on 2010 Icebear 300cc Trike a local consignment shop has for $2,995 (has 84 miles on it). That is probably a good deal on that 300. I bought my 2010 magnum 300R in April of 2011, it only had 80 miles on it and I paid $2700 for it. Roy

This is where I will mount the temp sensor. It is a bit high but lower than the low oil level on the dipstick. it will not be in the oil flow, but it will not be on the bottom. Roy

I was concerned about it being on the bottom also. But it will be behind the kickstand bracket I thought about putting it just above the bottom left bolt hole also, but the case is thinner.

i told you BBK sux!!! it's gonna ruin your scooter !!! and to answer your question on what to expect?? yes, you'll expect a blown engine. !!!! more fixing less riding a.k.a chinese scoot!!! lol I have put several different bbk's on my scooter. Not because I had to, but because I wanted to. There is a difference between fixing and modifying. I have not had a blown motor yet. I spend a whole lot more time riding than I do "fixing". If you spent more time fixing than riding, maybe you weren't fixing it right. Roy

The Koso digital meter I have Has An oil temp feature. I plan on drilling and tapping the case for the sensor. I think this is a good spot. It is the thickest part of the case and is in the path of oil flow to the pump. This is also the chamber that has the oil screen filter. Roy

It is supposed to be spring with average temps in the fifties. We are getting more snow again today. They say 6"- 10". Man, I'm tired of cold and snow. I wanna ride. Roy

Yes it does crank easier. It idles smoother and at a lower rpm. I had to raise it up some. The idle rpms dropped by 200-300 rpm.
Don't worry about houndin' me. I understand your currious as I am. Also I am somewhat of a procrastinator. (lol) I've been after my son about the leads. He keeps forgetting and our our schedules we don't get together much.
