My name is Mike Haggerty from Syracuse, NY. I'm 68 years old. I went from a Harley last year to a Kymco People 150. Sold that in the fall and now own a Kymco People GTI300. Looking foreward to giving and receiving good info from fellow forum members.

Put a space between each character and see if that makes it all clearer.

I've been thinking about going to a cycle, but haven't decided yet I had my Harley for 13 years and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately that 643lbs with a clutch just got to be too much for in town riding for me. Love these lighter scooters with CVT. Consider the weight factor and ride it before you buy it.

Hey Richard, proud to have you on Scooter Doc forum. A while back we had a long thread that turned into a fiasco of name calling and insults. Consequently I had to turn on the forum censorship program which turns swear words into benign words. Unfortunately it turns your nickname into duck. Bobf, due to his prodigious swearing, discovered a way to defeat the program by seperating the letters, (kidding Bobf, just kidding ). So you can get your name to come out by typing D i c k. My nickname is Rich so I dodged a lot of the stupid jokes over the years. Anyway, if you need anything around the forum just shoot me a PM. Rich

Hey another younger guy! I am 70. I sold a 1200cc bandit to buy a 400cc majesty. Almost the same weight but you can grab the handle bars on the majesty and tip it half way over with no strain at all. It got to the point when I was at a stop light I was afraid I was going to drop the bandit because of my hip and knee.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. I may not be as old and wise as some of ya all. I do have bad knees though and can't hold up a 2 wheeler any more, that's why I got me a couple of trikes.

Thanks Rich. Guess I can start using Rich also. Odd thing is, whenI typed it in the quick reply box, it was correct. Then I clicked to post it, and it puked. Any way, love my Patriot 150. In process of trashing all the emission crap. I did find some carb jets from my past life that I am going to investigate. Spent 30 yrs designing fuel systems for GM, and raced cars for some yrs, so I have accumulated a small warehouse of carb parts.
