Put a switch in the system. You're going to have to dismantle the front to install everything. Put a cool toggle on the dash or something like that. I don't know how many amps that is but they sell weather proof switches at Auto Weinie. Lights off, start bike, switch on. I've did it many times but not with HID. It's the same concept though. Probably wont need a switch because its high beam halogen and low beam HID so I can just use Halogen and when engine is running switch to HID when desired

I think the problem is not the stator but if the battery can handle because my headlights turn on when key on with engine not running which I assume my headlights are DC right?

what about compression? Have you done a compression test? check spark plugs and check if you get a good spark and also check for bent fuel lines and if you have a fuel filter between fuel tank and carb then check it. I don't know much about this but I do know what basic stuff to check

Your wiring harness seems exactly like mine and if so then at the back of your RPM gauge you will have three wires maybe you have them connected wrong and read wrongly because they are connected wrong. Most of the colors you mentioned seemed like mine and they go exactly where you also mentioned.

Alley remember the problem I mentioned on the other thread about slow speed and you recommended to replace clutch plates On My DF250rtc? well I did and seemed to fix that problem at the cost of making a hole into my Centrifugal oil Filter so now I'm worried it might not be having enough pressure to push oil into the top of the head. Engine is a CG250 Clone of the CG125 By Honda the centrifugal is above the oil pump and when the right side engine cover is On it compress a spring and opens a hole to send oil from centrifugal into a hole on the cover then into a reservoir in the cover then up :S So far I can see the reservoir filling up just fine but could it still have enough pressure to push it up?

After replacing my clutch plates because they seemed worn which did fix my slow speed problem but now when in first gear and clutch pulled I can hear a little clicking or grinding noise at the bottom right side of engine. I also just rechecked the plates again and notice a hole in my centrifugal oil filter and I think my oil pressure is low where it goes from centrifugal to head could that low pressure be doing damage to my engine? It does seem to be pumping up oil but just slow.

That link you put up is the same thing you just posted? What is the point of that stupid link? What do you have a little 50cc or a big 150cc? Makes a difference on the kickback damage that can happen. Alleyoop Alley when you copy and paste a post from another proboards forum it automatically puts a link it has happened to me before

mmm.. maybe steve is right because If I installed these springs wouldn't I need to rev the engine past 2000 rpm in order to get power from a stop otherwise I will stall? Sorry my bad I'm just not familiar with how clutch works. Is replacing clutch springs mandatory when changing plates? they only have about 3000 miles

my engine idles smoothly at about 1600 to 1800 rpm so should I buy some 2000 rpm springs?

I found some clutch springs but they say something like for 1500 Rpm, 1000 Rpm and 2000Rpm What does that mean? Is it at what Rpms the engine idles? I really don't know much about clutches.
