I ran this bad boy all summer long in the AZ heat and now that it's cooling down, the temp gauge is red lining at WOT and I have some excess coolant on my flootboard. Any ideas?

I was a Dewaholic. Had to give it up. Switched to Diet Dew for a while but that just added to the thickness of the front of my shirts. Finally gave up soda altogether and my beer gut faded away within 30 days. Soda really packs on the pounds. And the sugar is toxic too. Correction: Diet Dew. Gave up regular 4 years ago.

I'd like to know what it is if you find out. I think we have the same color, but yours looks a shade darker than my '14. flic.kr/p/nEDdPZ

Well boys! I want to thank you all for the advice and recommendations. I now have 2800 miles on my scoot. The rear tire (origional) is balding. It appears to be a Kenda knockoff. I decided to trust age and 6 months of research and went with taildrag's recommendation. I placed my order for 2 Avon AM63 Viper Stryke tires in the sizes he suggested. Paid $98 for both on Amazon. Should be here in 2-3 days.
So, my next question is can I change these myself or do I need to take them somewhere and have them mounted and balanced?
Any advice is welcome

They don't sound noisey and the bike seems to be running well. I am getting a little midrange flutter that I can't figure out. So I shouldn't perform the 1000 mile adjustment unless I'm hearing something or it's running rough?

Bump
Can someone take a pic of the inside of the end of their YYT250 so I can see what this is supposed to look like? My muffler just keeps getting louder.

Thought about that Alley but I didn't want to have to take the valve cover off. I'm a lazy arse! ?

Thanks. That is some great reading. Here was my fix: Took a hammer to the vent tube to create just enough out of round to prevent it from backing out. Tapped it into valve cover with a little red RTV. Voila! Good as new.

So I basically warm it up. Loosen adjusters. Move them to where they don't click and tighten them? No aligning anything first?

So I just hit 2000 miles on my Roketa MC 54 250 and I believe I am supposed to adjust the valves now. According to a video I have seen, it looks to be almost too simple. I have the 244cc Honda Clone motor. I'm about to go after it so any advice would be very welcome. Thanks.

Good Grief! I leave for a couple days you boys have me swinging from the other side of the plate. LOL
So my vent tube blew out again after I tried applying Red RTV sealant to keep it in place. Rich, was is this rig that "Glavley" used? I still haven't heard from KMS. Did they kick the bucket?
