I ride alone as well. Only time I have company is things like going to movies with son, sometimes groceries. Most people around here see scoots as a way around and nothing more. I'm kinda a homebody but if I get frustrated with life, I go for a relaxing ride on my scoot. Otherwise, my critters provide my chill power.

Got this one after my divorce from abusive hubby, cougar paw with my kids initials/DOB/zodiac in 1st 3 toe pads & butterfly for those who have passed. "stronger woman" in main pad is to remind me of what I have survived so far in my life i67.photobucket.com/albums/h292/genseeker13/me/P7160013_zps88156088.jpgGot this one back in 1998. like my other tat, it's a tribute to my totem animal. I'm kinda weird, I have wolf & cougar both as totems. Have seen them in spirit form as well & it's actually 2 wolves - black male w/ white strip over left eye & white female with black strip over right eye. They are literal mirror opposites and I first saw them in dreams before I was even old enough to start school so only right my first tat was to honor them. i67.photobucket.com/albums/h292/genseeker13/me/P7160012_zps175c7dc8.jpgI plan to get another tat and it'll be real country. I want either a necklace or anklet of kudzu vine - another reminder that I am a survivor. (Nothing kills kudzu but goats, lol)

Gawd guys, I busted a gut laughing at y'all
At least us ladies don't need to worry about size. Men stare at our boobs no matter the size. Course my 40DD get lots of attention anyways.

Where's a good place to buy a windshield for the TaoTao ATM50-A? I'm considering getting one for winter riding.

Thanks, it was a nice ride. Before I go again though I will have that 1000rpm contra in her and a BBK. Couple times I thought I could about push her up the mountain faster, lol. But she never gave me any trouble other than slow.

My son just pointed out that rednecks celebrate the 4th the way John Adams said it should be done.
It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more.

I would love to restore an old truck as well. My dad was a firefighter until I was 5 yrs old at Station #3 in Myrtle Beach, SC. We also used to watch Emergency! every Sat night together if he wasn't on duty and if he was, then my mom let me stay up to watch it anyways. My dad always wanted to get an old truck and restore it for parades. Shortly before he died, I actually won a bid on an old Seagraves truck, similar to the ones in the photos here. Unfortunately, my dad passed away just a couple days later. I emailed the seller on Ebay and explained what happened and told him he could just re-auction the truck. He did and refunded me the money I had already paid.
The old truck with the faded paint near the bottom of the first post is actually the first truck Millers Creek bought. When it was retired from service, they kept it around and used it to visit schools and stuff. It's never been repainted and I have seen it at the department as a stand-by when they've been out for a big fire. They've rebuilt the engine and keep all the equipment working well.
