set her to .004 and now she purrrs  )But i still hear it clicking. definitely improved thought actually when I went in and put it into timing to check the valves the ex was crazy slack like i could put a .100 in there ... lol |

Hey,
The seat lock's latch like mechanism that holds on to the ring on the under side of the seat doesn't hold the loop/ latch thing... it is pretty loose and free. i am assuming the spring has come off. does anyone have pics of a seat lock repair? or familiar with the anatomy?

Haven't explored that area of the anatomy yet, I have no idea the amount of poles on the stator. id have to get that tool i assume although i think I saw Rich using 2 wrenches to get it, i think...
drahken has a point, I was just previously looking at this old headlight cleaning kit i got. im going to try it on the speedo/tacho cover. Im not sure if it will work but it is worth a try since i may not need to buy lights at all. The thin clear protective sheet of plastic that was covering the speedo/tacho window cover when it left the factory is still on it. it has become fused on with time so this should be interesting.

Hi,
My speedometer/tachometer is very dim. I saw a guy on youtube swap out the bulbs in his camero for led's and it made his a lot brighter. Are there any LED's i can swap my speedo/tacho bulbs with?

The charger I have has auto maintain. I think 3a should be fine so long as it has auto maintain, that's what I heard anyway. I also heard that a high amp charger may damage the battery but I also recall reading that same day that up to a 6a was used with no problems on a bike battery.
Do batteries freeze at the temp of water?
is it safe to charge this battery from say 75%? Will topping off a charge shorten the battery life?

so on the hose from the gas tank you add a "fuel" filter and tie it in an upward direction?
