Hi guys and gals....I have found a great product to make your scoot look great. It is a Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer and I used it on my scoot. I think it looks better now then when it was new. It was a Christmas gift and she did a great job finding it for me. I have used other products, but this one does work. Give it a try....

Not sure, but why do you have the 55w ballast. I would use the 35w ballast and never look back. Just my 2c worth....the 35w on my bike is perfect and works with no problems, which is what I wanted. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....Enjoy your scoot...

The 55w halogen may be too hot and may melt the plastic...and your electrical system may not handle the load..... I used the 35w HID's....

Sounds like your timing is off or the valves are not adjusted properly. Not sure what specs you are using, but my Linhai 257 has the valves set at .004 intake and .006 exhaust.

I think I would take the cover off and really see what the problem is. Kinda hard to tell just asking about the weights.... Like what the doc asks...where does it hurt....need to check....

I use the passing light switch to go from Lo to HI, which I have to hold on. I rarely use it though, because the lo beam on the HID's is enough. My hi/lo beam switch does not work and I do not need it. My HID's come on when I turn on the scoot and I have had not probs with the install. I love the light.
