Any one from Pa. had Emission Inspection problems on stock or modified Scooters? I want to replace #3 since the hip is not happy with the seating/handlebar position . If Pa. Emissions exist or are tough I might bite the bullet and go 250 and do no engine modifications. I have read on a non Pa. Site that Motorcycles are exempt, and considering Va. tags as a motorcycle it would make sense Pa does the same.

Rant here!I have become aware that Wildfire is not the most popular bike on the block, especially after running an add for over a month. Reasons for keeping Wildfire: Advertized it c. list. Its the larger bike, bigger tires better rims, more comfortable seat, windshield, fog lights daytime running lamp GPS, tuned variator trunk, oil changed all the time, new tire valves, 4 way flashers and super clean. Most inquiries tell me " Thats what it cost new!, My response, Really, go buy two for $800.00 each Ill pay you a grand for the second. Off bike subject I sold my van Monday gave the guy a great deal, nerxt thing he was wanting my other truck, countered his $ 2500.00 offer with $60,000.00. Guess thats what I will do with the next scooter searching idiots.

Hi Alley, thanks for the source. Actually when I get back around to it Im ordering from Jim. I have been trying to get the supplier of the belt to send me the correct one and include postage for their mistake. I am so deep in the move and getting rid of years of stuff I probably will just tag the new 150 and not worry about it right now. Im more concerned with adding a trunk to new bike and raising handlebars, i feel like I lean fwd but I only rode it a mile or so after P.M.

Ethanol, if all premiums lack ethinol it is worth it. 93 gas always, always always results in beter mileage in my vehicles. The increased mileage has offset the initial cost delta, usually, and the vehicle runs better.

Yes there is a Cat right by the inlet of the muffler. Alleyoop I figured that is what it was, for some reason along with the no run Ice Bear situation the exhaust is touching the frame and it has burnt the paint off, along with rubbing, less than 300k on the bike. It really has not been a good experience.

Thought I did, rofl dont want a dup post so if this is Im sorry. Variator with full ramps factory was flat 1/2 way then up, also the cone side was slightly higher and the belt fit much better. although it has 6 g rollers I used the new ones. Did not do yellow contra because Jim, we all have a Jim, needed my 14mmx1/2drive more than I did. Bought new socket last night and bando will be here tomorrow. Old contra is so weak I can move pulley face with my fingers. So far running just under 7 grand, shifting down at about 6600 to 6800. Cruise now has much better flatground top end at 7 grand, and less throttle, thus better economy i would think. THere I go thinking again rofl

Those aren't H4, they are the B20 style for the 2 tab headlight. They do carry the H4's there though in the same wattage. They also have the normal 55/60W too, but those can be a risk if your light socket can't handle the heat and your charging system can't charge enough. LOL light sockets. Plastic stuff. Old trick in mind here. In days of old when we did appartment and condo A/C and had a weak fuse box. To keep em running we took a piece of 1in plastic tubing popped a hole in the plenum and directed cold air on to the fuses as a temp fix till we got back with a new box. Bet outside aor ducted to the lights. www.chinesemotoparts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=103_110&products_id=440

It sounds like you're pretty satisfied with the variator change out. Why not try that for a while and see if you like the way it performs? There are no hard and fast rules for these things, you think a certain contra is going to do a certain thing and you find you just went through a lot of wrenching only to make things worse. Your RPMs are better, 5.5 to 6K was too low. You could easily go up to 8 or 9 but it's more wear on your engine. JMO. THanks for the reply. Yes variator makes a big diff, todays ride revealed I am running just under 7grand and shifting at 6600, the results from yesterday were with about me and 25.5 lb. of load, today is just me 185 to 190 lb., I have the yellow spring and e-mail from post that bando will be here tomorrow ill try the spring. I also want to get a set of 5g 16x13 rollers that way I will be able to fool with 5, 5.5 along with the 6. On these hills I would prefer to be running a little more RPM. to be in proper RPM. THis is actually a learning curve for the 150 that is coming. Speaking of I expect the 125 lights to suck just like the 50 so that is the next job.

Make sure your new scoot will be legit in PA. Send me a PM with a VIN and I'll check it out for you. So many people tried to "end run" Penn Dot by registering them in another state and then handing in that state's title to get a PA title, that they check all titles coming in from other states, and anything dated after 10/25/08 is subject to the same rules as a new one. TRansilate this one please. What is Pa looking for? WHat does Legit mean? Bought two present bikes from dealer here had C.O. for both till we registered mine because of new laws. Should I contact seller of new buike and make sure it can be registered in PA?
