Thank you all who served and a special thanks to my Dad 1st Marine Division 1943-1945 who fought with the Old Breed in the Pacific.

I agree Cruiser my Jr Tender also has a fuse just in case, and I made sure the connection to the battery was tight. With the new sealed batteries I haven't heard of any of them exploding.

If the connectios are tight and with a built in fuse there is little chance of a spark.

I like the look of it. Part scooter part BMW motorcycle. I'm sure the price tag is up there and if I were to guess I would say 10 grand without the add on's. The shame of it all is that no one in the good old USA will make a scooter.

OK here is the answer to why you are waiting. Three reasons. 1st the company you are dealing with doesn't do a huge volume of business hence the credit card merchant processing company has more then likely put them on a 5 or 7 day plan. Those are business days not counting weekends and holidays. 2nd Green Earth waited a day or two before they actually put in your refund, which happens a lot. 3rd Your bank, yes your bank can receive electronic transfers the night before and wait a day or a weekend to put the money in your account. When you deal with huge companies such as Best Buy or Walmart there refunds are fast due to the large volume of business they do.

All hooked up. How much easier it is now to just plug in the Tender and get the battery back to full power.

Quick question here. On my Jr Battery Tender I have the option of using the Alligator clips or the round connectors. The instructions say to put the positive clip on the red terminal and the negative to a body bolt. I've been doing it that way for a year now.
I was thinking if I could hook up the positive and negative connectors directly to the battery and run the connector wire out the side of the scooter all I would need to do is plug the tender in and connect the male and female connector. Is this possible? I go back many years and when we charged a battery it was positive to positive and negative to negative on the battery as we never grounded the negative wire to a body bolt. Same thing with using jumper cables. What changed?

Great pictures Widehide. Now please tear down your 54B and take pictures. I know you just must love tearing down scooters.

Alleyoop,
I am determined to find a way to trip those red lights. I run into a certain one every day and I am tired of waiting for another car to pull up behind me, and tired of running a red light, which was necessary a few times. Tomorrow the new magnets arrive and if it's not raining here tomorrow night I will give them a try.
My mistakes haven't cost me an extra $100 yet, but I am sure I'll buy the wrong product and be stuck with it. 95 MPH is just cruising for your Suzuki.

Alley don't give up. I found a vendor with stronger magnets and talked to them about using 3 together. I have them ordered and will let you know the outcome.

No to the Green Light Trigger. I guess in theory a magnet works, however this magnet is not strong enough to trip a loop stop light. It's been in two positions on my scooter and neither one works. So it's going back to Bike Bandit for a refund. I've tried every which way going over the loop from their suggestion at 5-10 mph staying 1/3 within the loop to having the magnet sit over the loop. Each way failed, but as soon as a car came behind me the light changed.

Wow the list can go on and on. Doc is still in the black and white era. Doc you didn't mention Lawrence Welk. As far as comedy shows go I still think "All in the Family" was the funnest. Best Mini Series "The Pacific" as my Dad was in the 1st Marine's 5th Division. Best movie of all time Casablanca.
