I would ventilate that housing....15 minutes isn't realistic for my night rides. Seen the lenses yellow in couple of weeks from the heat and melt completely... Not that particular lense, but you need to extend your testing to an hour or so for the real world, or just take short trips... ;D

Just a note ...the rear brake on scooters don't stop them..people think they should but they are wrong. When braking any motorcycle or scooter you use BOTH brakes together, the front brake does the stopping, the rear brake simply stops the rear end from coming around, so you stop straight. The correct balance is about 80% front, and 20% rear...for street use.

Adjust the valves...they can be very tight on brand new engines... .004 inches intake/top valve, .005 inch bottom/exhaust
Do you have an exhaust attached?

Switch the stator from the old engine to the new engine.. then the regulator will match..it is common problen with replacement engines many are wired for DC systems, certain the current crop of coke can engines on EBAY is like that...you will sond all summeur trying to get the electrical system working...

thumper Why not jut use cooler off the drain plug? NCY has a good kit, and there are some knock-offs. scroll down near the bottom www.chinese-parts-canada.com/ncy-motor_125cc-150cc_gy6_performance_Racing_parts.htmlI think the whole oil cooler thing is a load of snit, engines are designed to function in a certian temperature range, and dropping oil temp even 30 dgrees means nothing...maybe in New Mexico, Texas it could be of benefit... If you want more engine life...forget the oil cooler change your oil twice as often...if you think cooling oil you can ride WOT all the time ....these engines won't take that for very long...

Just a note..rear brakes are NOT designed to STOP the scooter..you use both brakes to stop. The rear brake is simply there to prevent the back end breaking loose, and coming round.
Get in the habit of braking with both hands

ride on..great news! I did all LEDs a few years go..they are straight plug ins..on the HID you should be OK , but many go from an 8 coil stator to 11 coils to drive them...I think there are 35 watt kits , so I suggest you go with those rather than trying 55 watts... You will need resistors in the flasher circuits if you use LEDs there my be issues with the HIDs ...they run very hot and melt the plastic lens...depends on the style... just a heads up

Also check other things like center stand etc..if you dropped the scooter you may have something loose that is vibrating at speed...it may sound like the Cvt but could be something else..
