Alright, I got the other numbers from the guy and it is a 150, the other numbers are HL157QMJ. is this a GY6 and what defines an engine as a GY6?

I am changing the color on my ride, and I am having some issue getting the old paint off and applying the new paint in the correct "color" that I am looking for and it is the color underneath the paint I am spraying that is having and effect on my end result.
What is the best way to get the old paint off??

Mike, I was having the same problems earlier this week and ditched the canister as the guys are saying, and I am having ZERO problems. The only issue I had after the removal was there was air in the vacuum line and was not pulling fuel through the petcock, once I got the fuel to flow though that line I was golden!!

On the back of that canister are 3 hoses and there is one on the front of it. What do I do with the hoses? Should I block them off or what do with them?

By Chance do you know here that hose ould run to? It was never on the scooter. I am starting to wonder if this bike was not sold by the dealer to break like ti has. IF I by pass this how would I re route the lines? Because yesterday I only had enough gas in it to run and idle for a few minutes. Gas start pouring out of it.

What is that "thing" strapped to the frame rail. I know it has something to do with the fueling system but, not sure of the name. Anyways fuel leaks out of the big hole thats on the front of it, I know fuel from the tank goes into it but I am not sure why fuel comes out of it like it does. Attachments:

I had to cut off one of the tabs to mount the exhaust because it just was not fitting behind the oil dipstick. My Question is where does the rubber clamp go? And did I do the right thing by removing this tab? Attachments:

I tried that on my last scooter and it was an EPIC FAIL (LOL). Is there a kit that someone sells for that? Oh and BTW Thanks for the Scrap Dog recommendation. I have spent quite a few dollars with him. with only one gripe and that is the shipping options. Wish I cold get the stuff faster but other than that I have not complaints

Is there a mod for the air box get rid of it totally and switch to something a little more less bulky? I have the factory airbox still on it and want to improve looks and airflow.

I am looking to upgrade the CDI on this awesome machine of mine. Where can In find its location? Also I noticed that they sell different springs for that go behind the clutch what is a good "color" or get for best performance? Attachments:

This afternoon my exhaust tab broke. While I was attending to that I noticed that one of the bots for the other mount were. There is a hole right near the plastic piece for the fan, Does that hole go all the way through, because its seems like the bolt broke off. IF i heed to replace it does anyone know the thread count and length? Thanks Guys!!! Attachments:
