Is it going down by the dipstick or are you just smelling it?
Rich Yah, its coming from the exhaust. It just started the other day, so it would be hard to see if the oil level is down at this point. |

Man, I only have 1100 miles on my scoot and it is burning oil. I kept smelling it every time I stopped, but I thought it was the car in front of me and then it turned and I smelled it at the next light. I put my hands down by the exhaust for a smell test and sure enough it was me.
I hope it doesn't get too bad. Now I am for sure bringing this thing out to our vacation house in Lake Havasu.

I was able to tinker a little on it today. It's a YY150t-12. After cleaning the carb and charging the battery it ran for about 30 sec.
And then died. I cant get it to start again. I think I will clean he carb again.

A friends neighbor just moved and gave me his 2008 Jonway. It's been sitting outside for a year and he lost the keys in the move.
I know I can put a new ignition in, but the trunk and the seat need a key as well. Any ideas?

Going in tomorrow to have the hole (valve) closed in my heart Doc says this will put an end to the events (strokes) I've been having. Sure hope all goes well for my wife's sake. Gerry I hope and pray it all goes well with you. |

Sunl 2008: I believe if "it ain't broke don't fix it.". If its running, just do some maintenance. Change fluids, spark plug. You might want to check and change hoses and see if they are brittle etc and change them if they are bad. For sure check your belt.
