the clip is one piece just wasn't in the hole in the carb

the needle wasn't in the hole you was correct it fell out do i need to straighten the clip more

ok ill check now, but i could feel the air leaking from the bottom of the manifold and hear it im waiting for my manifold to come in i wont be using that manifold anyways

i moved the clip up a notch but it bent when i tried to put it back on i bent it back with my needle nose pliers and got it in the notch the carb seems to leak air from the bottom of the manifold i can feel it would this cause it to die immediately

i bent the carb needle clip i bent it back but it doesnt sit totally flat i got my bigger carb it fits in my stock manifold but really tight the scoot starts and idles good but when i hit the throttle dies right away its a 24mm carb in a 50cc manifold waiting on the manifold i think the manifold is leaking air since it doesnt fit right just making sure i haven't messed up the needle clip

well i at least expect the bearings to go eventually then i'll get the crank

ok ill get the carb its going to be the last of my mods until the crank breaks which i expect then ill get a stroker or a naruku hd crank

i was gonna buy the scrappy 23mm pumper carb i thought maybe the 18mm carb i have now is too small for my set up now and i have a uni free flow exhaust big valve head and a9 cam

would it be worth it to get a 23mm carb for my set up and match the ports or is my 18mm carb ok or should i get a 20mm carb
