for a short test ride, its fine. the cover helps keep it from twisting. John Adds Integrity to the Case, Long or Short. Interesting and makes sense. right on.

An O2 sensor is a very good investment for performance tuning. I got mine for around $120, but well worth it. This allows the carb to be perfectly tuned through the entire range of the throttle. The sensor allowed me to keep my air:fuel ratio exactly at 13.5ish from 1/4 to 3/4 throttle. After 3/4 throttle the mixture drops to 12.5 for an optimal richness setting. www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/MTXL.phpinnovate s some good stuff. i use to sell there products a few years ago, b-4 I got my scoot. Now I wish I would have grabbed one of those while could have got it cheap. Post some pics of the Sensor into your new system. please.

So I finally took the time to figured out how to change the crank.... I found that a 50mm piston can run the stock head(higher compression) at high rpm for extended periods of time(8k-10k) without blowing or severely wearing out rings when broken in properly and switching to 15w50 Mobil 1 full synthetic and maintaining oil quality. With that being said the connecting rod bearing on the stock cranks simply won't last past 6 months (To be expected) Never had a problem with the crank bearings just the connecting rod bearing. What is the best most durable crank without having to further modify anything? Willing to spend a little cash since I will never have to change it again. Performance is my aim, but durability is my goal. Also had anyone tried out these performance fans i've been seeing around? If you truly want something better buy the Taiwan Crank and send to Millennium Tech or Falicon. They will check for True to .001, and Better yet Weld that Puppy's Pin. Either one can make whatever Crank you have Better, for a cost$$$ tho. If somebody haven pin bearing problems that bad they have something else going on. I can run some Stupid Cylinder Pressures with smaller bearings. Your not going to break that Piston Casting and a Forging is only a Novelty in something that small. We get into Cast Piston Shatter in some HD and Auto above certain RPM's, youl shatter the skirt off it No so in that lil guy.

Like a high compression head, domed piston. If not do you know ways I can increase compression? I'm not having a problem I just want to max out the 39mm piston to its limits before I put in a 50mm. I don't see any High Comp. Piston from Taida. In order to do the next you will need to know how to Measure your Piston to Cylinder Head Clearance. Im going to play it Very safe and say you need .060 Min. clearance. You can use Thinner Base Gasket. Thinner Head Gasket Have the Cylinder Head Milled.

I bought this exact tool just before moving here to NC It is Great Quality and Works Fantastic. And can t beat the price. Its a Beast! I have no Problem blowing off 1-1/8 Nuts on a Rusty 72" Mower Deck. I have a room full of Pneumatic tools just no room for the Compressor to run them at this moment.

prejudices, you know; Harley Davidson didn't make it so it's not a bike, Pabst didn't make it so it's not beer, Chef Boyardee didn't make it so it can't be spaghetti. Huh? How many years you have on Two Wheels?

Thanks all. As I said, this will be my first "dry" clutch so I really didn't know what to expect. City driving is considered to be severe duty driving and I fully anticipated to be replacing parts more often than some. At least now I can expect to be run over before my bike starts to self destruct. I look forward to China working out American prejudices more quickly than Honda and Suzuki did in the 60's. Prejudices?? K ya hit a chord here, Elaborate and Bring it!

Ditto on the Above As my new Scoot was being shipped I had on the way a aftermarket Variator, Weights and a Gates Belt. I have Zero time on the OE Belt And Variator, the OE Belt is my Spare underneath the Seat. This stuff is inexpensive compared to M/X- Dirt bike Wet Clutch parts but there's Allot of 100% Genuine Fake Hot Rod Junk out there. A Benjamin for a Good Variator, Belt, Weights etc. Compared to Forged Basket, Billet Inner hub, Billet Pressuere Plate Inner and Outer Plates, PSi Springs a Easy $1,300-$1,500. Have Fun as you are about to enter the Mysteries World of Chinese Scooters.

Vary the Engine Load/RPM"S. Run that Biotch Hard up a Hill then Chill. Repeat, Let cool Down(Heat Cycle), Repeat, Cool Down, Check some Nuts and bolts, Repeat, etc, Change oil, Repeat, RACE IT!

did the easy break in then saw an article about hard break ins where people are claiming the hard break in method got their 150's to hit 65 70mph! truth or mularky? No No I'm not going to go with easy break ins. Save that for the 1920 Don Deere Hit and Mis. The Most Important thing is Varying Engine Load. Not just the RPM.

I sure don't wear a Helmut to make some type of fashion statement. Looks are Last on my list. I wear no less than a SNELL rating. Ive never been impressed with the Evil Empires House Brand ICON. ICON gear available to the general public is poor compared to much out there. My Favorites are, Arai, Shoe, Shark. These have Great Fitment Charts and Shape guides to properly choose a helmut. We may have the same head size but never the same shape, These also provide several interchangeable Cheek and Cranial Pads to fit you properly. I would encourage you to find a large local dealer and try on the differant Helmut's, and if so it would be nice to Patronize the Stocking dealer with a sale. Huh! My Arai Helmut cost more than my Scooter.

As a new rider, the most important thing I learned quickly was You can Stand on the Front Brakes, Use them__________. As an experienced rider, the most important thing I eventually learned was Its not the Fall, Or The Road Rash, its the Sudden Stop that Really, Really Hurts.____________.

so my bbk is coming in today. do i have to break it in? Yes! Dino Oil for break in. More importantly than varying RPM's is varying engine load. The Rings will Seat in in 20 miles or so, and thats it.
