Hey, At least I didn't take the easy way out and comment on a Japanese scooter being trailered-again.

Hey! It has four wheels on the ground. Doesn't that make it a car? Or at least an ASV (All Street Vehicle)

Have you ridden a Helix, or the equally good Chinese clones. You would be embarrassed you wasted so much time on that Tub, you'd cry for a week. You don't have to be a chicken to smell a rotten egg. Kawasaki is the best in the world. Big doesn't make you better. They sell more Chevies than Mazdas, can you even compare the two? Kawasaki won the World Superbike title over a floundering Honda. Yamaha left World Superbike because their bikes were so bad. The new J300 will smoke your Tub.
Wake up and smell the humus Luke. My odometer keeps climbing in my signature, you can't show yours. You're a dying breed. Well at least a comatose breed.

You know what's sad Borg? A lot of people do actually ride their Morphs. It might be a semi-decent scoot, not as good as the Helix or Chinese Helix clones, obviously, but it's a second, or fourth, choice for the unfortunate. Those other poor Morphous owners do ride and use the Tub.

That year model Tank 250 resembles the present day Roketa Bali and has the 244cc Honda clone engine. It was the 2008 and later Vog clones with the Linhai 257cc engines that were the "Problem Child". www.powersportsmax.com/product_info.php/cPath/38_95/products_id/305It should give him excellent service. You might dump a few ounces of Seafoam gas additive into the tank. It helps greatly with ethanol issues. And actually what happens according to our fearless leader is that the gas in the bowl evaporates a little and it takes a bit for the vacuum fuel pump to fill it and fire the engine.

I tend to agree with you Borg but Honda is lobbing shells at Generation X,Y and Millenials hoping to make a hit and take off from there. As silly as it sounds now the original CB 750 K-1 was a gamble for them. Four cylinders was Science Fiction back then but we Baby Boomers sucked it up like free beer. If it failed we would have all been riding XS-650s.
Crappy looking bikes like the DN-01 were the first salvo-FAIL. This and the NC700 are the next. Keep in mind that manual transmissions weren't uncommon in our youth but now......Something like 90+% of cars are auto or CVT. Clutch isn't even in these kids vocabulary.

I tried flipping too. People here think they have the Hope Diamond and want more than online prices for Chinese scooters. I scoured Craigslist and Classifieds for months. It was a lost cause. I only managed one deal, made a few bucks and gave up.

Where have you guys been? Do you have any idea how many Japanese motorcycles suffered the same fate back in the seventies and eighties. It's always been like that. Cyborg's scooter is a perfect example of the ongoing habit. A $4000 Vespa sitting in the garage with less than 100 miles? How lame is that? It will always be like that. Not to mention the other thing I keep hearing. People bought bikes for under $2000 back then. They flogged on them and when a dealer said, "Sure we can fix it. Only $500 plus tax" the bikes were scrapped. People who buy cheap think the fix is cheap too. Take your $100 Walmart bicycle with bent wheel into a bike shop and see what repairs cost. "What!! $50 dollars for a wheel replacement!" No one thinks of enjoyment value, all they think is purchase cost vs. maintenance costs.

What I love about ALL Victorys is their reliability. Owners are popping 100,000 miles with zero mechanical issues. It shows that America can build a solid motorcycle afterall.

$5000 is still an obscene amount. What I'd like to know is if they sell for that overseas. It would probably explain the Honda SH150i being the leading selling scooter in Italy. Also buying a Morphous for over $6000 OTD and unloading it a year later for $2400 is too rich for me too, so I hear you.
