most of theseengines are very cheap and easy to build i now have the 250 water cooled but it is still very basic engine with help from here you should be able to do anything to your scooter also on comprision test if you add oil and the compresion goes up its the rings if stays the same valves are out good luck

change the fan it sounds like its drawing tomany amps theres better 1 out there if it was mine thats what i would have done first

could your float be opening up and flooding the engine next time pull the plug and check

i had a sometimes spark as well if i just moved the cdi canection a little bit it would spark again so i rapped a wire tie over the plug and around the cdi to hold it tight seems to be working just fine now so i would try that as for the carb your still out of ajustment so i would go 3 turns out on it thats where mine runs the besti had the same hit the gas stall out issue as well mine is a 250 but the same no matter what size you ride good luck allyoop is the carb man pm him he will help you out

test the power into the parts with an ohm meter go from the batt. down good luck it takes time todo but thats what a real shop would do also you may have a wire grounding to the frame take off all the plastic and start checking wires

first off check all plug wires my cdi was not clicked in and it ran sometimes check and replace all fuel and vacum lines check the intake i had a 125 that did that and it was cracked just enough where sometimes it ran great other time veryslow do the spray bottle test on them spray all around if the bike runs better when its wet then you found the problem

ajust garb did you change the fuel lines and vacum lines if not change them

theres a fuse on the starter selanoid is blown look for it by the back bottom of it thats what it sounds like to me

you have a loose plug one of the wires is not conecting all the time take the wires out of the cdi plug 1 at a time sader them to make sure you have good contact

in most states you can work on cars and such just dont classafy youself as be certifide is all there are small engine courses on line you could take goto a lawn mower shop and talk to the owner of it in your town they will probable help you with your states issues

check all your canections my plug to the cdi looses contact every now and then and the coilwire to the sprk pluig will also.

you should still check it with a jump eire from posative side of batt. and negative to neg to see if it comes on it may still be the switch on the radeator it should be the round thing

sometimes yes they do get a lower amp higher out put fan it will help on gharging system as well as cooling
