The Roketa is made by IceBear and sold to Roketa, so I understand. As an owner of an IB Ruckus I can feel your pain. Nuff said!!

if you trim the Yorkies put them in a terrier trim. They look great in that trim. Used to have a pet Yorkie and we always kept him in that trim. Neat, easy to care for. Luke, I doubt that the skunk is carrying any bacteria that the dogs have not been exposed to. Now Rabies is a different story but I am sure that JR's dogs are current on their shots.

Yes, the Tank and the Roketa used to be made on the same assembly line and are the same scoot just labeled differently. My Tank 150 will hit 60 but it's sweet spot is 55. I weigh 190 so that might account for the slower speeds that i get.

Around here, 55 miles north of Atlanta I dont consider the 250 to be enough scoot for the traffic conditions. I had a Tank Touring 250 that would top out at 70 but there was no way I would take it on 575 with 4 wheelers doing 75-90. I ride a TGB Delivery 150 now for the most part and it tops out at 65(speeds checked by Garmin E-Trex) and holds the road better in the wind than the Tank did but I confine my riding to the local roads. More fun and great side roads to explore. For Xway riding I would want a 400 or 500cc scoot. Just MHO.

Had a simular problem on my TGB Delivery 50cc. We were modding it and put on a hotter CDI, worked for a while and then failed. Went back to the orginal CDI and she runs fine now. Dont know if this would apply to your trike or not but since you mention it you might repalce it and se what happens.

Sort of a remake of the old Whizzer motor bike. I had one in the early 50s. Good to see someone still interested in the type. i have read elsewhere that you can buy the kit but I forget what the cost was. Should be relatively easy to build.

For the past 49 years I have been involved with purebred dogs and dog shows. It started as a a hobby, became a profession when I became a handler, led me into my present business, and is once again a hobby. At the moment we are campaigning a young Italian Greyhound and my wife also is a show judge.

Tomos makes a great and dependable real moped. Made in Slovania. My 2001 Tomos Revival slightly modded to 70cc hits 43-44mph and has given me very good service. I had another Tomos that had been modded to 80 cc. First time I hit the throttle hard it did a wheelie and scared the crap out of me!!!! 8^) I use the revival for the motorhome bike. Mthomas, you can have some fun with that find.

I like both scoots but would give the nod to the wifes scooter. I really like those motorcycle handle bars. Ride safe and enjoy.

The CDI on my TGB Delivery 50cc will 'feather' the engine at 45mph, the bike is modded, as soon as the rpm's drop back to a safe level the engine runs normally. A good safety feature. My TGB Delivery 150cc has a sweet spot at about 55, can hit 65, GPS checked, but I do not run at WOT for more than very brief moments. 3/4 throttle gets me 55-60 and that is fine for my riding conditions.

250, read the article again. You are right in that there is much more government control over the workers in China than in the so called free world. However the Chinese government is smart enough to reakize that if you make slave labor out of your workers productivity and quality control goes out the window. As the world demands better good from China, now the worlds largest manufacturing country, the workers have to be reimbursed in a better mannner. Will China ever become a capitolist society? No. But in order to maintain their position in the world economy they will have to loosen the purse strings and pay their workers more than they do now. What we think of as poor wages here is a step up for the Chinese laborer.

Thanks Alley, for showing me how to correct my posting mistake. I are compooter illeterat!! Not bad for the mods so far. And I really like the wheel chair carrier concept. Speaks well of you to do this for Jack.Speaking of Jack he has been quiet lately, hope he is well. And thanks for taking the time to give us the cost figures. As you know, your are a skilled wrencher, I am a rider(who rarely falls off.)
