I actually expect to hear there is another gasoline shortage, which is going to be blamed for the raise in pump prices and it's going ot be due to what is going on in Iran, even though we, the USA get no crude from iran! It's all politically and oil industry driven! No shortages. No reason for increase except the greed of the oil companies and the greed of our members of congress and the current administration!

If you have had athe battery on your charger very long, the plates could very well be warped. This is a common occurance when charging a battery if it's low on acid, even in cars and also in electric fork lifts.

I have to agree with you, Greg. Although i do like to listen to good rock music, loud, I don't when driving. It seems that the louder the music and the better the beat, the faster I drive! Never on a scoot, no matter what size. I need to hear and see what the heck is going on around me at all times so I have time to manuver away from idiots who are blasting their "rap" crap and not paying attention to where they are going!

Yes, I think it is going to be difficult to find poarts for it, but it's a cute little scoot. Myself, I wouldn't try increasing the power or the speed on that tiny little scoot. I would think that anything over 25 mph or so would be a bit dangerous to say the least! I also assume that you are not the least bit interested in increasing the performance of it. It would be difficult to find any upgrades for it anyways.
Good luck on your endeavor and welcome to the friendliest forum there is for scoots!

Thanks everyone, for your input on this. It is greatly appreciated. I really can't see how it would be possible to wire an LED up in that position, although it probably would look pretty good. Greg and Sprocket; I do think I will heed your advice and keep the kick-start, but replace the ugly black one with a chrome one. Thanks again guys!

I believe that I've located the cover that I want to install on my 150cc scoot, however I want to remove the kickstarter, which I've never had the occasion to use. Just think it'll lood better without that ugly kickstarter hanging out there! lol Besides it seem to just get in the way of putting the scoot on the centerstand. My question is: Does anyone make a chrome plug for the hole in the case, where the shaft protrudes? I'd appreciate any and all feed-back. Thanks everyone.

Insurance is required in Indiana, by the state. No ins. and you get stopped, you get ticketed, fined and vehicle towed. Same as Dallas however, the number of illegals here is considerably smaller than Dallas TX, although there are some. I live in a very small community. In the bigger cities, like fortwayne or indianapolis the illegals are rampant, like everywhere else in this counry. When I lived in Fort Wayne, the apartment 2 doors down from me was a 1 bedroom and there were at least 9 adults and so many kids you couldn't count all of em living there. All the men would sit out on their car hoods drinking beer and smoking weed every evening. Absolutely NOTHING was ever said or done about it!

If the CDI box "went out", as you put it, the scooter will not start with either the kick starter or the electric starter. You have a different problem.
