Got a picture? Someone here could probably help you figure out what model you have. Could save you some grief down the road. Here are some pics of it. Maybe you can identify it.. imgur.com/a/0nSjK#_=_The chinese have copied the japs, the mechanical stuff is great, the crap plastic is awful ....same as the japs. The chinese keep forgetting these are a low priced scooter and to sell them they just need to work. If they did not have the fancy looking plastic they would still sell just as many. These scooters do not need all the fancy looking plastic that is a night mare to peal off and even worse to get back with out breaking it......But if you think they are bad you ought to see what it takes to strip down some of the new jap scooters. To change a head light bulb there is no reason that one should ever have to take out any more than 2 screws. Entirely true. It is very obvious that the previous owner to my bike had taken it apart before, as some of the tabs in the plastic were missing. It was an absolute nightmare. So many screws and tabs, and interconnected parts.

Well, I WAS in this predicament. I already took it all apart and changed my turn signal bulbs. And as for which bike...I couldn't tell you! I never did learn the model of my bike. It's a 2003 though.

You know, somebody really SCREWED UP their job as a designer when they dictated that you have to take ALL of your plastic off your bike to CHANGE A LIGHTBULB What a nightmare...

That is the bulb, yes, but I need it in amber. That's where it gets hard!

Hello. I need to replace the light bulb in the back of my scooter (turn signal!), and what I had in there before is an amber bulb simply marked "12v10w" (part of the 10w is smeared off, could be different). It has a wedge base. Does anybody know where to get these or suggest an alternative amber bulb?

I don't think that one supports my dual-filament bulb!

What is the assembly that the front turn signal bulb fits into? I need a new one because the assembly that fits into the front of my bike doesn't fit anymore due to a broken seal. All I know is that it's what the bulb FITS into (and then the assembly twists into the front of my bike to hold them there). I just don't know what it's called >.<

Voltage

Theoretically, what is the MAX voltage I can apply to my battery without causing it any harm but only charging it? I need to take down my voltage because my stator is turning out 18 volts at idle So I need to know what voltage I should look for once I get my parts from John (ballast resisters!)

So this has been going on for awhile and my bike has become impossible to start. Sometimes it will do it, sometimes it wont.
Basically, when you press the electric start button, either I will get the normal starting sound and it will start correctly, or I will get a SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHCH sound, which sounds like rattling from the starter, as if the starter isn't grabbing the flywheel and spinning it, but is just grinding on something. I made a soundclip of it doing it. What could this be?! I couldn't get it to do it..It has magically fixed itself..but still, just in case in starts again, what could this be? I think it's the starter bendix.

Hello. Luckily, this isn't my bike that is doing this, it's my brothers bike this time He just finished washing it and turned it on, and noticed that even when the turn signals are off, the clicker clicks slowly and is always on. Why would this be? A bad clicker?

So now that I have my scooters wiring all fixed up, I want to do a small project. I got an LED strip from my friend, and I want to wire them to my ignition, so that when I turn my ignition on, they light up under my bike. So...Generally speaking, when you turn the key on, what's the best wire to take power from so that I can power these LED's? I'll post pictures when I'm done

AND....it's blown. Negative voltage once again.
FUUUUUU*******************************************************************
-_-Okay, that time I actually had my leads backwards. It didn't blow, but it sure does charge at the extreme

Yes, 17+ volts (almost 18) at maximum RPM wit headlight on bright, dash lights on, and brake depressed to engage the brake light, turn signals on, and the horn blaring. Looks like I'm not done having problems...Is there any way I can bring it down without yet another R/R?
