We didn't do it on purpose, I can assure you that. Anyway, twowheeler, check your email. I have already sent you an email regarding this.
I'll reiterate my response from twowheeler's other post regarding us:
We have many rubber carb gaskets that get packaged in small baggies. Up until now this largely has not been an issue, as with a little time to lay flat outside of the bag, or some heat, they work fine. Is this ideal? Not really, but at the moment it is what we have, and since we've had zero returns or complaints up until this point it has not been an issue, and therefore not something that we've had to fix. It is now something that we'll take into consideration for the future.

Whats worse is they never responded back to my email..... Well guys, I actually responded to this email personally. I guess we'll see if my response is acceptable, but I'm not going to air dirty laundry here. To recap: Yep, we bought a bunch of these gaskets and they are folded into small baggies. We haven't had any complaints until now, so it wasn't something to review. Now I'm looking at it, and if it something that we need to change, we will. Normally a little heat, or a chance to sit outside of the baggie makes these gaskets alright as they actually aren't all that easy to damage as far as gaskets go. Any concerns, you guys know how to reach me. Matt

I can vouch for these guys. If you happen to be in St. Pete or Pinellas Co. in general Seminole Scooters is a great place to do business. They are very good.

Oh I dunno'... if it isn't rattling, shaking parts off and spewing smoke it isn't much of a scooter now is it?
Or maybe that's just my scooter...

shalom72c - I ride a Stella as well. Personally I prefer gears to a twist and go... but that's just me. Ironic, isn't it considering my company's focus? I think the most fun thing is 65mph on 10 in wheels. Makes for a lively ride. Also keep in mind that it is a good idea to add a little bit of oil to your fuel tank with each fill up on one of these scooters, particularly if you spend any time at WOT. The Auto Lube system is just a bit lean and no-one likes a soft-seize. Matt

I usually try to stay off these threads, as I don't want to sound like a product shill, but man, the Dr. Pulley variators are worth the money all day long. The quality comparison isn't even close to the cheap stuff, and I should know; we've got plenty of both in our warehouse.
The HiT Clutches? They are great, but not for everybody, Dr. Pulley rollers and sliders (they do make both) are very nice, but once again not for everybody due to cost, but the variator that they make? For everybody. Easily.
Matt
Anyway, just my personal .02.

3k? I'd buy it even if it wasn't cherry. Those GTS's don't come cheap.

I had a 2002 Yukon XL 2500. It was huge, ridiculous and awesome. Also thirsty, so much so that I just did everything I could to not use it. My scooter and motorcycle got a whole bunch more use because of that beast. Needless to say the old girl is now gone and I'm all the better for it.

Yes, but the GM LS7 also uses 2 valves per cyl, and that particular engine isn't a slouch. There is still a place for 2 valve heads, particularly if you need more torque. KZ is correct that the 4v heads tend to be substantially more up to date than a 2v head as far as flow dynamics are concerned, particularly with a high RPM engine.
I think there is an argument for both sometimes.
And then there is this: my Yamaha and many Ferraris have 5v heads, while many modern Ford V8s and Yamaha's newest small scooter engines use 3v heads.
It is all over the place about what is actually better in day to day use.
I know I didn't help any yet but I had to toss it out there, so I'll get to a point here... for some scooter riders, a 4v head can be a good option with the addition of other mods, as it typically allows for more efficient airflow than a 2v head. If you aren't planning on a bunch of of other mods, such as intake, exhaust, fueling and such, then it probably won't help much as you won't be able to take advantage of the extra flow capacity that it offers.
We actually use a 2v performance head on our QMB Drag Racing Scooter, and we only run that wide open with N02, no air filters, no exhaust. Just food for thought.
