Yesterday I got nailed by a driver who wasn't paying attention . She crossed over from the lane to my right to cut me off while trying to make an illegal left turn at an intersection . I had no where to go even with horn and brakeing. I nailed the drivers side of her SUV . As a scooter you must keep an eye out for anthing and everything either on the sides of you or in front. The drivers may not see you due to the smaller size of your scoot's . Use that horn !!My last piece of advice I am giving is serious , get a Helmet !!!! Some states like Idaho don't have a mandatory helmet law. My helmet saved me from head injurys yesterday !!! Bashan said I should post about this and I am doing so now. Luckily I was fortunate enough to come away from the acccident only with a baddly bruised up right knee. My scoot is another matter . Get a helmet and keep those eyes out for any possible trouble. will c.

They are 10mm if I rmember correctly. Mine has 2 10mm bolts on the flywheelside that hold the engine cooling enclosure . The bolts for the crankcase, variator cover and starter are 8mm . On mine the 2 bolts that mount the exhaust pipe mounting bracket are 12mm

I use 15g rollers on my roketa . 13g ran my engine higher rpms and that I didn't like too well. Im more after topend speed like you are . My low speed take off from standstill is a tad slow but I have better hi speed . Also I have an a9 camshaft installed. Still not ruling out a possible rear gear change. will

Ok I'll look into that. The frame is going nowheres anytime soon !! The bare Vespa Sprint 150 crankcase I picked up online came in yesterdays mail . It is a non oil injected model with a 10" rear wheel base It will work for my frame since its also a 10" model for the front. One qwerk about the crankcase . In the rear it has a simmilar threaded castle nut like the starter clutch retaining nut on my scoot . More updates will come as parts are accumulated ! will

Just make sure when your reinstalling the variator to not screw up the threads when putting the retaining nut back on ! will

Update : I picked up a VLB-1T 150cc crankcase last night on Ebay. Tho it's abit smaller than a 200cc , the price was reasonable and it will work for me . I'll most likely be putting a new 177cc cylinder and head on it as soon as funds permit. I won't have to deal with an electric starter ( which is what I prefered ) in the wiring harness. Next major item will be the steering column and its parts . I may also pick up the other small engine parts I need as funds permit . ;D will
